2010 bomber shared with toffsbury. Pours opaque and black with a nice brown head. Smells amazing; sweet milk chocolate and vanilla. Smooth, thick, sweet, vanilla, roasty, creme brulee mouthful. Three Floyds you’ve done it again! McBeer (12) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - NOV 15, 2006
Drinking notes from GTM 06: Wow this is can not be a stout. I have never tasted a stout this sweet. Very pleasant, must try again next year. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 17, 2008
Pours a thicker black with a nice creamy frothy tan/gray head. Great aroma of cocoa powder, butter, a little roast and a nice amount of hops. First taste is very milky and buttery, oatmeal? Wow that’s awesome... so flavorful and drinkable. A great stout that doesn’t allow the roast, coffee or dark chocolate flavors to completely dominate... imagine that. The sweet creamy milkiness is forefront and the roast and chocolate play assisting roles, fantastic balance from FFF. Perfect body, creamy and full, yet not heavy with just the right amount of light sizzling carbonation. soooooo buttery! zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - OCT 9, 2010
(bottle - 22 oz) Dark black with a thick and fluffy tan head. Incredibly roasty aroma with a nice coffee and cocoa followup. Very sweet and milky at the start of the flavor. A lot sweeter than I thought it would be from the aroma. Creamy and smooth with a chocolate milkshake finish. Awesome. patrickfannon (1241) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2011
Bottle 22 oz. Split this with Vinny before an Eagles game awhile back, and last night with James. Pours a motor-oil silky smooth black with a thin bit of wispy tan lace upon the surface and lining the rim of the snifter. Nose is huge on vanilla, fresh cream, milk chocolate, freshly ground coffee beans, and very subtle spicy red pepper and cinnamon notes. Huge chocolate and cream flavors swirl up front and slide down easily with a velvety, rich, chocolatey oatmeal smooth finish. Tremendously gratifying, rich, fulfilling milk stout. Excellent.

2010 bottle from Binny’s. Gorgeous pour, opaque with brown head. No hops evident anywhere. Aroma is sweet and lactic (no surprise), complex and even a bit fruity. Bottle was poorly stored, but even so it’s very nice in flavour. Sweet and rich, thick and full-bodied with a lovely creamy texture. Sweet all the way through, almost no hint of bitterness in the milky finish. Beautiful milk stout. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 14, 2012
This is one of the best milk stout’s I’ve had, narrowly beating out Tallgrass’s Buffalo Sweat. Sweet, but not overly so, and lacking the rotten or stale sugar aromas of lesser varieties. Tried at the Cunigan’s tasting party in Oct of 2012. BrewtopiaofPJ (37) - Miller Place, New York, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle from trade, absolutely amazing milk stout. Smooth. Very light and soft on the mouth. It’s like drinking sweet silk. One of the best for sure bowlnman1990 (94) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Aroma: roasted malt and chocolate. App: black like oil, thick tan head. Taste: chocolate, sweet. Palate: full, as long as it gets. Overall: amazing. AndyW68 (1542) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - SEP 23, 2014
This is damn good. Near black pour with tan head. Aroma is chocolate and vanilla. Taste adds a sweetness. Very creamy. Enjoyable.
