HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2009
On tap at the Brew pub in an english pint. Golden pour with nice big head. Aroma was of typical, danky, citrusy, awesome three floyds hops. Very fresh hoppy flavor, with a light mouthfeel. Not thin at all, and full of flavor. A "mild" beer from Three Floyds, not surprising that its awesome. MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - APR 16, 2009
On tap at Three Floyds and served in a nonik. This poured a pale golden with a light haze and a two-finger thick head of off-white foam that slowly settled. Minimal lacing. The aroma was very pungent. Loads of grapefruit and citrus. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy! The flavor was also full of grapefruit juice, lemon, and fresh oranges. There was just enough pale malt left to hold things together. Some lightly toasted grain and bread. Brightly hoppy and fresh. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had light to moderate carbonation. Quite the tasty session brew for being a small beer. Think Dreadnaught Lite!!!
