Tap at Piece in Chicago. what the hell is this beer? One of the previous raters got this exactly right...plain and simple this is hopwater. Aroma is watery and barely any hops and flavor is soooo watery. So wierd. I guess if you were thirsty and wanted to drink something that barely tasted like beer, then this is it. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 27, 2009

22 oz draft sampled draft at the brewpub (Munster, IN). Pours a hazy golden straw, bright and lively with big offwhite head that dissipates to a small layer, decent lacing. Aromas are amazing, lemon and grass moving to light florals and grapefruit with some nice tropical fruit. Initial sets this brew back a bit, a little bland, very light pale malts, and some light grass and citrus coming through on the hop front. If this were lower abv, I’d be happy. But it is a shell of a great brew. Aroma and appearance rock, taste doesn’t give much as it turns bland into the mix. Ok. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2009
On tap at the Brew pub in an english pint. Golden pour with nice big head. Aroma was of typical, danky, citrusy, awesome three floyds hops. Very fresh hoppy flavor, with a light mouthfeel. Not thin at all, and full of flavor. A "mild" beer from Three Floyds, not surprising that its awesome. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 15, 2009
on tap at FFF....pours a semi-cloudy pale yellow brown with a frothy white head... light grassy citrus hop aroma, not as sweet as dread, and is short-lived... flavors of light citrus hops, slightly bitter, without a whole lot a depth but i wan’t expecting that from a second running. medium carbonation. average.

On draft at the brewpub during DLD 09. Pours a cloudy honey gold with a medium sized white head. (lost the rest of my notes for this one) MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - APR 16, 2009
On tap at Three Floyds and served in a nonik. This poured a pale golden with a light haze and a two-finger thick head of off-white foam that slowly settled. Minimal lacing. The aroma was very pungent. Loads of grapefruit and citrus. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy! The flavor was also full of grapefruit juice, lemon, and fresh oranges. There was just enough pale malt left to hold things together. Some lightly toasted grain and bread. Brightly hoppy and fresh. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had light to moderate carbonation. Quite the tasty session brew for being a small beer. Think Dreadnaught Lite!!! railcat1 (702) - Kissimmee, Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2009

On tap at the brewpub at DLD ’09. A fantastically hoppy and refreshing aroma (probably would only seem that way to a hophead though), except that there’s really nothing balancing out this hoppiness. Mangoes, peaches, florals, a tropical fruit citrus that is great, apple juice, orange juice , and with just every so slight pale malt that is evident. A pretty beer as well, with a smooth white fluffy head, no retention or lacing though, bright tropical orange color. Before actually tasting, this is beer is quite enticing, but definite disappointment arises after the first sip. Very good hoppy bitter, but no balance and a fairly watery feel. Flavor notes of light grapefruit, mango, melons, some lighter red berries, and medium fruits. There’s just really no perceptible maltiness, and that brings this one down alot. I still enjoyed drinking it, as it wasn’t a bad session beer and it was light enough to play drinking games with (which could be interesting). Overall, a disappointing result to a promising idea. clingman71 (297) - Centerville, Ohio, USA - APR 26, 2009
Cask at Sheffield’s. I really needed to try this on draft along with the cask. It is very pale, crazy white head. It has distinctive lemom aroma, very floral. The body was simply to thin and watery. It was like hopwater.
