On tap. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, rough off-white head. Interesting liqueur aroma with candied oranges - Grand Marnier! Full-bodied, lots of white sugars, again Grand Marnier notes and a peachy touch. There’s some bitterness in the finish but most is buried under the booze. I’m certainly no great fan of British hops, but in this US beer they work well indeed. 250511 omhper (24977) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2011
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy amber, almost no head. Caramelly nose with notes of honey. Sweet and full bodied, packed with sticky caramel., syrupy mouthfeel. More honey in a warming finish where there’s also notes of lingonberries. Feels too rough and immature. Rasmus40 (20338) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2011
Hazy copper with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, fruity and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is rather sweet and moderate bitter. Dry finish. Not as sweet and alcoholic as the Bourbon Behemoth, and that a good thing. 250511 rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2011
