Draft… DLD’08… Clear yellow lager with a small, fluffy, white head. Fuzzy fruit, biscuit malt and spicy hops provide the framework for the aroma. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Too sweet. Lightly bitter. Gently acidic. Sweet, tangy finish with very little bite. adrian910ss (2590) - Doylestown, PA, USA - APR 29, 2008
On draft at brewpub the night before DLD 08. Pours a semi clear orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of spicy hops and light citrus. Taste of spicy hops and citrus. has a tangy flavor to it. ChainGangGuy (4918) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 28, 2008
Appearance: Clear, golden body capped by a smallish, white head.
Smell: Mild malt scent pumped up with a hop character giving off spicy notes of dried citrus peel.
Taste: Sweetish, candyish pale maltiness and a quick, clean taste of grain. Spicy, lightly citrusy hops with a medium amount of bitterness. Touch of yellow apple fruitiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: The body has just enough heft to it to get it beyond light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A fine, tasty session-minded lager. Enjoyed at the Three Floyds brewpub, it’s nice to jumpstart the day before moving onto the Alpha Kong, Blackheart, etc.

Called a Franconian Pilsener on the pub’s menu, this seems a bit too sweet without enough balancing bitterness. The pour is a slighly hazy, deep golden body with a big fluffy head and plenty of thick lacing. It’s got a bready aroma, sugary sweet, with just a touch of grassy bitterness. The hops build up during the drinking but never get to a point where they counter the malty sweetness effectively. Not bad, but not something I’ll be repeating.TPaliga (212) - Munster, Indiana, USA - APR 8, 2008

light aroma of citrus and biscuity yeast. Light body with crisp finish. Good session beer. MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - MAR 28, 2008
On tap at tap at Three Floyds and served in a pint glass. This pilsener poured a slightly hazy golden with a chunky off-white head that slightly lasted. A small amount of lacing was left behind. The aroma of the beer was made up of biscuit, fresh mown grass, and some light citrus. The flavor was similar with a crisp, bitter finish. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty clean and highly sessionable. A very well done pilsener. Walt (2449) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2008

pours cloudy amber, fluffy head with a bit of lacing. the aroma is mild and airy, which might say more about my olfactory powers than the brew. flavor is spicy and bready with a slight bitterness in the finish. a good entry in the fff stable.
