Pride and Joy pours a mostly clear bronze orange with a thick foamy beige head that lasts throughout the duration of the beer. The aroma is citrus, rye bread and caramel. The flavor is also citrus, rye bread and caramel. The beer is so smooth with every sip. Overall this is a very nice brew. nimbleprop (8377) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 17, 2014
12oz bottle pours a clear orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose is malty, fruit, orange, cracker, a little green unripened pear. Flavor is clean, malty, fruity, orange, mild rose water, cracker. Clean finish. peterschreurs (113) - Illinois, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle poured. Great look and smell. Has tremendous flavor for a session beer. I can see picking up a six pack of this to watch the game.

12 oz bottle dated 6/11/14 poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Golden orange/brown with a finger of off-white head. A bit hazy from the tiny bits of floating sediment. Aromas of toast, breadsticks, light citrus. Tastes of citrus, toasty notes, spices. Medium-light body with a semi-dry finish. Medium carbonation, light mouthfeel. A nice citrus nose and tongue. Correct body on tongue. Sweet with correct hoppiness. Not a mild but a great pale ale.

This beer has a lot of flavor for a mild. Very smooth taste with just a hint of bitter hop at the finish. This is like Alpha King’s little brother. If you are looking for a good, session beer, this is for you. Hop aroma is citrus. Not a lot of malt, but just enough. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 13, 2014
Bottle at home, shared with Mathieu87.
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: hoppy, fruity, citra, nice.
TASTE: hoppy, fruity, citra, bitter. Bluegoosed (59) - - JUL 4, 2014
I guess I expected more from 3 Floyds. Although it does state mild ale, I was thinking more of a pale ale with a stronger hop presence. Flavors of grapefruit/citrus are present along with mild hops. Overall fairly light and not as hoppy as I prefer. Decent session beer. cafgen (209) - California, USA - JUL 1, 2014
Orangey color with a one finger off white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, hops and slight caramel. Taste is a nice citrus and pine but not as strong a pale ale. Good refreshing beer.

Bottle from Mikkeller online shop; hazy light copper pour with a big frothy off white head, fruit and biscuit aroma, taste has grass, some dark fruits, a hint of grapefruit, grassy with some citrus, strange it says mild ale on the label.
