A pale ale made in honor of the twins who founded the city of Rome. Using the same malted barley recipe as his twin, Romulus, they differ only in the single hop variety, this one with Bravo hops.

tap at the brewpub....brother to romulus...aroma: grassy hop nose that took centerstage with little hints of cintrus hops. kind of earthy....appearance: very much similar to his sibling with a golden boddy and apple-cider like look.....taste: pretty grassy with a malty finish. something didn’t totally click with me on this one. i preferred romulus just a tad bit more.

Interesting. In myth, Romulus snuffed bro’ Remus to become first king of Rome. Here, Remus: Bravo slams Romulus: Apollo easily. It has a golden body with a decent enough head. The aroma has a light citrus/grassy bitterness balanced with a pale malt sweetness. Same with the flavor, the malt coming through first. Sessionable.
