22 oz. bottle via local trade. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Notes of pine, sweet and biscuity malts, rye, and citrus peel. Light-medium bodied, with a bitter, resinous mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nothing stands out here quite like in the Rye’d Da Lightning, which I liked a bit better than this one. It was cleaner and worked better for me. Dedollewaitor (16171) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 12, 2013

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, pine, citrus, fruits and malt. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Fiery amber, hazy, thin to moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Pale sweet citrusy and fruity nose, hoppy too.   Semi-sweet citrus and pith on the tongue.   I thought it would be more floral or
fragrant, but seems fairly average.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Sweet pith and citrus peel on the finish.   Doesn’t seem like an IIPA, perhaps a bigger IPA, but its not overly hopped or on the malty side.   Well
crafted, but to me, very much middle of the road.   Thanks to fatknitty for the bottle!

bottle, courtesy of EVIL, big beer, seemed bigger than the 8.6. orange, grapefruity bitterness. light herbal notes. Big bitterness. another FFF winner Rasmus40 (20771) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2013
Bottle from Mikkeller bottle shop. Hazy orange with a big and lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. 050713 egajdzis (6589) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Lightly hazy, orange gold color with a small, creamy, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange, citrus fruits, pine, light tropical fruits. Seemingly typical 3F aroma that I hadn’t had in a while. Taste of citrus, pine resin, tropical and some citrus fruits, with orange, and grapefruit bitterness in the finish. My only complaint is that I wish it were fresher. Still, very nice. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Pours pretty thick orang sunrise with a creamy tan head. Aroma is juicy, lemons and rye spice. Hops may have faded a bit, but they are present bringing some tang and citrus and then the rye bready flavor comes in on a full, thicker body. DalzAle (2037) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2013
Bottle. Hazy orange pour, HUGE frothy head, and bitter oranges, rye, & herbal hop aroma. Flavor is also a nice meld of herbs, hops and hints of rye throughout and finished a little sweet/orangey. Decent beer, but too pricey to buy more than once.
