Bomber from Mikkeller & Friends. Pours pretty much clear light amber with thick white head, nothing special so far. Take a sniff, however, and that changes. Lovely aroma of light pine, floral, heaps of tropical fruit, light caramel. Taste is sweet with a light hoppy bitter backbone. Lingering resin hoppy finish. Body is medium with soft carbonation. Not entirely sold... A very good beer, for sure, but had kind of expected more, especially after having been introduced to Alpha King, Dreadnaught and the brilliant Zombie Dust this weekend.

Bottle thnx to budznudz! Cheers Chris! Pours a beautiful darker orange pour with a beautiful small white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is of pineapple, peach and mango. Very floral hoppy influences. Flavour is mildly bitter with a typical grainy sweet backbone. I think the rye is present in the flavour, but not sure if thats it. Drinks very easy, nice in balanced and an overall great beer!

Bottle... Poured golden/yellow with a thin head. This quite good. Solid bitterness and balance with noticeable rye flavor. The rye and hop bitterness worked well with either not overpowering each other. Light fruits and esters with bread-like malts and earthy hop tones.

Bottle. Hazy deep orange liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon peel, grain, white pepper, pine, biscuit and herbal hops. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of citrus, pepper, lemon peel, biscuit and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice stuff.

Draft on tap at the Brew pub and at home in a 22 oz bomber. Orange pour with a small sticky white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, marichino cherries, orange peel and pine. Mild earth and cookie dough notes as well. Flavor is very bitter, with nice tropical and citrus fruit hops, bits of pineapple and mango in there as well. Mild spiciness from the rye comes out, albeit subtle. On the heavier side of medium bodied, finishes bitter with some strong rye notes. Nice.

Bottle at Mikkeller and Friends Grand Opening. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet and very bitter. Lots of hops aromas. Floral and sprucy hops profile with hints of plant sap. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Dry finish. Good.

(bottle - 22 oz) Cloudy orange pour with a fizzy white head. Lots of sweetness and citrus in the aroma with a good amount of pine resin and rye dryness under it. Flavor is really nice. Tons of citrus at the start with a bitter and sticky pine hop middle. Lots of fruit and rye dryness and bitterness at the finish. Really smooth and easy to drink.

Bomber from akurzynski - thanks, Adam! And of course, thanks to Ronnie James-ah! Gorgeous pour, lustrous deep orange with tons of soapy bubbles and complex lacing. Nose is buoyantly fruity and hoppy to start, with not much rye detectable. But that element comes across very prominently in the taste, complementing the fruitiness quite well and substituting for the pine you get in other variants. Tons of orange, rye malt, bitter rind, and other tropical fruits going on, all of it coming together in a nicely spicy and quite lengthy finish. Race for the morning!

Draft, bright hazed orange with small white head. Aroma has bright citrusy and floral, earthy undertones. Flavors have assertive citrus and rye, honey dew, mango, caramelly finish. Fairly sweet and sticky finish. Seems under attenuated. I think the smaller version is more my speed.

22 oz bottle. Foggy orange brown with a whitish head. Nose is orange peel, musk, caramel and rye. Medium to full body with a creamy mouthfeel and a crisp tingle. Taste is somewhere between orange and grapefruit, nectarine sweetness, toffee and rye finishing a bit spicy. Vodka creeps in as it warms.
