Bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grapefruit and earthy pine with some underlying rye and citrus. Flavor starts with rye and earthy pine but is joined by resin and grapefruit.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and orange with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is a spicy, fruity assemblage of big-time rye, peach, apricot and resin. Full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The thick, heavily bitter flavor hints at a rock-solid malt backbone, but the lupulin is definitely the star of this show. The bitter-sweet finish is far more bitter than sweet. Another top notch brew created by the the guys at Three Floyds!

Orangish pour, fluffy head. Aroma is heavy on the rye and citrus. Flavor is bitter, loads of rye, orange peel, resiny finish. Big beer.

Thanks to an anonymous PUB"R member at Craft Ale House Tuesday Titan Tasting Temptation for this. Pours turbid dark straw/orange with off-white had. Nose was very Zombie Dusty; a medley of Belgian yeasty floral malt, spicy hops, Tasted rich, complex, with upfront floral and peppery hops, and a great mid-palate yeasty fruity malt bill. Complex and delicious, this one makes me wish I could intern for Nick Floyd.

651mL thx to nuplastikk. Cloudy orange thin foam. Floaters. Juicy mango and pithy nose with raw malt and wort. Taste is juicy, cheesy, Rindy Some tropical melons and sugar. Sweeter not astringent. Relatively fresh tasting though this was picked up at FFF directly a few days ago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65 cl bottle.
Pours golden color with a small head, some small particles floating around. Aroma of floral hops, toffee, sweetish fruits and resin. Flavor of resiny hops, goose berries, some caramel and mild rye. Sweetish fruity palate with a mild toffee finish. A bit disappointing and stuffy.

Shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has big citrus and fruity hops, herbal notes and spicy rye. The combination is very nice. The flavor has citrus and some tropical fruit notes, herbal, spicy rye with some back ground sweet caramel malt character. Medium plus bodied with moderate bitterness. Very solid all around. I want more.

22 oz. bottle via local trade. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Notes of pine, sweet and biscuity malts, rye, and citrus peel. Light-medium bodied, with a bitter, resinous mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nothing stands out here quite like in the Ryed Da Lightning, which I liked a bit better than this one. It was cleaner and worked better for me.
