Bottle shared by nuplastikk: pours a clear bright golden with a stringy lacing white head. Has a fresh resiny hoppy nose with some light malty sweetness. Starts with good fullness and sweet light caramel with lots of fresh hop flavor and resiny bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish. Well-balanced and enjoyable. caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2013

San Diego Strong Ale Fest 2012. Clear amber color with ivory head. Spicy earthy hop, rye spice, pale malt aromas. medium body with soft co2. Nice spicy hop, pale rye bread, pine sap flavors with a sweet pale malt finish--tasty rye ipa 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Fiery amber, hazy, thin to moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Pale sweet citrusy and fruity nose, hoppy too.   Semi-sweet citrus and pith on the tongue.   I thought it would be more floral or
fragrant, but seems fairly average.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Sweet pith and citrus peel on the finish.   Doesn’t seem like an IIPA, perhaps a bigger IPA, but its not overly hopped or on the malty side.   Well
crafted, but to me, very much middle of the road.   Thanks to fatknitty for the bottle! ekstedt (6773) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 20, 2013
Bottle (bomber), courtesy of rlgk. Clear deep golden, medium white head. Piney and perfumy hop aroma with tropical fruits and some spicy rye notes. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with high bitterness. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2012
This poured a darker orange to red color with a beige head. Aroma was fruity tropical hops, and rye, booze and caramel. Flavor was much the same, good balance of fruity hops and malt, not over the top bitter, booze is a little hotter than I would have liked but still a pretty solid beer. Patrickctenchi (6586) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Pours hazy golden-yellow with a short white head.
Aroma of rye, grapefruit peel.
Taste is a rye malt, citrus hops.
Deep, rich rye flavour over a well balanced hoppiness.
