Bottle from the source. Pours a copper colour with a huge bubbley head, and a fair amount of sediment. Smells so sweet and citrus hoppy. Tastes sugary sweet and hop bitter. Citrus again and just well balanced for a double. mcberko (19886) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
750mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is quite skunky and herbally, some buttery malts, and a little rye. Flavour is heavy on the rye, but never too overburdening, with loads of resinous and citrus hops. Lots of flavour and very enjoyable, but not one of my favourite IIPAs by Three Floyds. UPDATED: OCT 29, 2012 Had while camping out for Surly Darkness Day. Big time pine and citrus scents and flavors, one of my favorites of the night. hopscotch (11451) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Bottle... Pours cloudy and orange with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is a spicy, fruity assemblage of big-time rye, peach, apricot and resin. Full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The thick, heavily bitter flavor hints at a rock-solid malt backbone, but the lupulin is definitely the star of this show. The bitter-sweet finish is far more bitter than sweet. Another top notch brew created by the the guys at Three Floyds! thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 25, 2012
This draft brew from a restaurant poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated hazy orange colored body. The strong aroma was rye and malty. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of rye. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Hazy orange pour with a big frothy white head. Head faded quick but left some nice lacing. Aroma is fruity and full of pineapple. Smells like the usual 3 Floyds. Mouth is full from the rye. Taste is very hoppy. The alcohol is really well hidden. Pineapple and hints of grass. Very easy drinking. drfabulous (8833) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - FEB 3, 2013
22 ounce bottle. Lots of carbonation in pour. Urine like aroma. Big bitterness and high alpha hops. Pretty intense and bold. Slight malty character. Imperial_Scout (363) - Illinois, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Pours a lighter orange/deep yellow. Smells of floral/pine/Citrus hops, always quality with FFF. Tastes pine and grapefruit with rye but a nice balanced malt that really rounds out the beer. fattybladdy (830) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Bomber. Pours medium orange, quite heady, so much that it flowed over the glass. Nice floral scent. Taste is grassy hops, rye, citrus. Slight bitterness but very easy to drink. Tasty brew. drsordr (2930) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Bottle pour from alexsdad. Orange, amber in color. Lots of citrus hop on the nose. Initial grapefruit hop flavor with some spiciness from the rye. Nice long bitterness.
