On tap at the Brewpub, served in a half pint glass. Aroma of caramel, bread, some dried fruit. Also, a definite hop presence, focusing on citrus and pine. Flavor of light roast, coffee, toast. However, mostly fudge and nuts. Big hops for a brown. Very dry and easy to drink, full bodied. Rich and thick on the palate. Almost no detectable alcohol. I’m impressed this is almost 8%. cprochak (590) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2009

On draft @ FFF. Pours a dark mahogany colour with reddish undertones. Aroma and flavour of expresso beans, nuts, roasted malts and seltzer water. Pretty bland beer. Expected more from FFF. User29624 (1683) - - JUL 19, 2009
Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of citrus hops missed together with caramel and chocolate malt. Interesting flavor with a nice hop profile for a brown ale. Decent, but not my favorite.
