On tap at brewery pours copper amber in color with very slight off white head. Aroma is sweet coconut, caramel, and grapefruit. Taste hits with slight upfront bitterness into a flat caramel, grassy, and bready.

On tap at the Brewpub, served in a half pint glass. Aroma of caramel, bread, some dried fruit. Also, a definite hop presence, focusing on citrus and pine. Flavor of light roast, coffee, toast. However, mostly fudge and nuts. Big hops for a brown. Very dry and easy to drink, full bodied. Rich and thick on the palate. Almost no detectable alcohol. I’m impressed this is almost 8%.

On tap at the Three Floyds on 7/21/09. Pours brown with tan head. Smokey bread aroma with roasted nut. Sweet nut flavor and coffee bitterness is very well-balanced brown.

On draft @ FFF. Pours a dark mahogany colour with reddish undertones. Aroma and flavour of expresso beans, nuts, roasted malts and seltzer water. Pretty bland beer. Expected more from FFF.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of citrus hops missed together with caramel and chocolate malt. Interesting flavor with a nice hop profile for a brown ale. Decent, but not my favorite.
