Rated on 4-25-2016 at Dash-In, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer’s appearance is a small tan head that is mostly lasting, opaque dark brown body and a good amount of lacing adorns the glass. The aroma presents citrus hops, fruity, toffee, caramel and malt. The flavor presents moderate bitterness, citrus hops, fruity, toffee, lightly roasted malt, and caramel. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated opaque except at the edges dark black brown colored body. The mild aroma was mild malt. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a mild mild roasted malt aftertaste. Draft to taster at The Pint Room in Carmel. Looks solid; a translucent copperish brown with foamy beige head. Smells and tastes malty with notes of chocolate, bitter hops, and toast. Tap at FFF. Clear dark ruby. Excellent sheets of tan lacing. Nose is fresh peppermint, sage, pine. Taste is dry, dusty, loads of white pepper, spruce and waxy pine sap bitterness. Sage herbal overload. Delicious. Can be a bit dusty but comes across as cocoa powder bag mixed with crushed white pepper.

Pour is dark copper with a light tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is on the hops side with notes of grapefruit, caramel malts, and toffee. Flavor is a bit more robust and nutty with a dry grassy finish.
