With the same grim determination and American innovation that President Jack Kennedy showed when propelling us to victory in the space race, we at Three Floyds bring you Space Station Middle Finger. Both bright and citrusy this pale ale deserves to be in orbit.

Mostly passion fruit, apricot, resin, and citrus in the aroma. Filled my nonic imperial pint well with an inch of head. Taste is a bit spicier than the aroma indicated, but very drinkable. Well done pale ale that would sure look nice in six packs.

Solid APA. Good balance of stone fruit, citrus, tropical, hint of pine, with a good malt base and excellent palate.

Bready malt, and citrus hop aroma. Cloudy golden with a two-inch white head. Tastes with a medium sweetness with tempered bitterness. Basically this is elite level pale ale stuff. Has a solid medium body but not so much to mute the hop profile. Carbonation on point

Pours an amber color with a white head. Mostly citrus hops on the aroma with coriander and caramel malts. Nicely blended for a pale ale. Nice citrus good up front with the caramel malts. Not a huge bitter finish and only a slight lingering flavor.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/7/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, apricot, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Never overly aggressive. Really great mix of juicy, dank, and vibrancy on hops; with a nice balancing malty backbone. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

3F continues to dominate the American pale ale style with yet another masterpiece. Aroma was all hops. Grassy and earthy. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was a hop explosion. Grainy with huge grassy hop flavor with a nice bitter hop bite in the finish. Masterful crafting in balancing enough malt to balance the strong hop flavors (keeping it out of IPA territory). Good carbonation

Draft. Dark gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of clean orange blossom, grapefruit peel, and pale malt . Flavors of tart grapefruit candy, sweet grass, light malt, and solid sharp bitterness. Hoppy with an excellent balance.
