With the same grim determination and American innovation that President Jack Kennedy showed when propelling us to victory in the space race, we at Three Floyds bring you Space Station Middle Finger. Both bright and citrusy this pale ale deserves to be in orbit.

Mostly passion fruit, apricot, resin, and citrus in the aroma. Filled my nonic imperial pint well with an inch of head. Taste is a bit spicier than the aroma indicated, but very drinkable. Well done pale ale that would sure look nice in six packs.

bottle 2 weeks old Pours slightly hazy deep orange hue with a small soapy white head and whispy lacing. Nose is big hops lots of tropical lite dankness, gooseberry, lite lemon cleaner. flavors are a bit lite very low bitterness maybe a bit from some lemon/lite tangerine notes, but mostly floral hop flavors here. has some very dry cracker malt profile that shows up near the finish. Much like zombie dust, I think its somewhat over-hyped. its well done, but I would much rather drink daisy cutter over this.

Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma has grassy hops, pineapple, mango, orange, peach, and some lesser amounts of pine and caramel. Its quite enticing. The taste is dry with some minor bitterness. Its heavier in pine, and has a good amount of both peach and pineapple. I find lesser amounts of grapefruit and orange, with hints of resin. It has a short peach aftertaste. This is medium in body, with a slick texture, and some good lively carbonation. I really enjoyed this one.

12 oz bottle poured, sent over by Prufrockstar. Thanks Chris! This is awesome. Updated bottle artwork, bottled on 11/30/2016. Pours a thick golden orange color with a ton of lasting foam head. A fantastic aroma of grain and citrusy hops. Some oranges and a vanilla like note too. Very nice. The kind of beer that is good on all occasions. Flavor is a spicy malt up front, a little bready as well. Citrus like linger. Grapefruit and lemon. Very nice pale here.

Quintessential American p.a. Fresh hops, malty nose. Flavors like nose, but sweet up front, balanced overall. Good stuff.

Bottle in Seattle. Opened up minutes after receiving a generous box from Prufrockstar. Still cold from the trip. Thanks Chris! Creamy cap, rich orange gold body. Clean, soft, balanced fruit nose. Mango, orange pulp, warm clean malt. Fantastically clean and balanced. Clean orange juice, warm clean bitter. So drinkable. Adore this.

Bottle from Js. Pours a deep gold to light amber with a finger of foam that lingers then dissipates. Peach, tangerine and gummy bear aromas dominate the nose. Fruit forward on the palate with peach, guava, apricot, tangerine and gummy bears standing out. Very low perceived bitterness.

From a newly minted 12 oz. bottle (why arent these knuckleheads canning yet?). Pours a hazy orange with a decently sized rocky khaki head that settles slowly and leaves some nice-looking clumpy collars of lace on the way down. Nose involves a large presence of floral notes reminiscent of lilac and flower pollen, some herbal leafy notes, honey, some pine, some subdued tropical fruit wafts through toward the end. Fairly sweet, decently bitter. Medium bodied, oily, tingly and drying, softer carb, giving way to a tongue-scrubbing herbal and fruity bitterness on the end. Some clashing elements and harshness, but a noble effort with layered hop aromas.

12oz bottle from a sixer, poured into a missile command shaker. Burnt orange-amber, creamy head, great retention and lacing. Nose on this is lovely -- citrus, mildly dank, and marmalade suggestive of sweetness in the "orange-creamcicle" vein. This is on the sweeter side, but really nice balance with hops that pop at the end. Again, think hoppy creamcicle. Light+ body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Overall: Im loving this. I know its blasphemy, but honestly Id reach for another of these over zombie dust.
