Chicago tasting. Bottle shared by John.
Is hazy, orange-ish body with a small off-white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, peppercorns, yeast. Lots of yeast in the flavor. Malty citrus. Alcohol warmth throughout. Medium - thick body. Nice. DuchessOfIowa (161) - Iowa, USA - JUL 12, 2015
Poured from a bomber. Deep amber orange hue with a pillowy head that takes some time to settle. Nice lacing as I drink. Fruity and bubblegum in the nose with an aromatic citrus aroma. Banana, caramel, citrus and pine are some of the many layers in the taste. Assertive bitterness to take on the sweetness. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Sample during Jungle Jim’s International Beerfest. Hazy darker golden, kind of orange color. Thin white kind of bubbly head. Bits of lace. Orange citrus, spice, toasty malt, belgian yeast. Bigger bitter taste, kind of spicy. Light to moderate sweet. Pleasant citrusy hop. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light dry finish. Solid, interesting pale ale to try. But the spicy bite sorta slows it up. jcr (2726) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Bottle. Light amber body with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, spice, orange peel, grapefruit, basement. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Sticky finish and a little hot. Tartness/bitterness lingers. Interesting combination of flavors and overall clean. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2015
Pours unclear bright but deep orange with a faded white grayish head. The aroma brings citrus and orange with some amber malt like yeast. Flavor brings some citrus sweet orange laying nicely on the palate with the Brkgian yeast hitting the backend to tame the hops.

Lots of hay and esters in the aroma. Some melon and a light bubblegum too. Taste is straw, clove, a light honeydew melon, light caramel. Some booze taste on the end. Taste like a nice earthy hopped Belgium tripel. jbeatty (1256) - New York, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Bottle, 05/07/2015. 2015 bottling. Pours a rich amber color with golden highlights, medium size white head with soapy lacing around the edge of the glass. Aroma is caramel glazed citrus hops and melon, honey resin pine, bready malts with spicy Belgian yeast. Taste is thick resinous citrus, pine with peppery, herbal yeast notes. Medium thick body. Quite tasty. DialSquare (5119) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 1, 2015
On tap at Winking Lizard in Worthington at the start of Columbus craft brew week: amber orange pour. light belgian, citrus, perfume aroma. clean crisp even taste - light bitter, little soapy, grapefruit, sweet malt, yeasty. the belgian ipa’s aren’t my favorite, but I’d say this leans more toward the ipa and is as good as I’ve had. - 7.8 madelfonatree (317) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 22, 2015
This is a nice alternative to classic Floyds ales. It is worth trying. Only beer I’ve had like it is Le Freak. Dogbrick (13519) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 9, 2015
Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, caramel malt and a bit of herbal yeast. The finish is moderately bitter with piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
