From bomber. Pours a half-hazy copper color with a medium white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of fruits. Taste is a big semi-sweet fruity flavor. Mild bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and a light bitter finish. Very nice beer. bluejacket74 (1993) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2015
22 ounce bottle, bottled on 02/25/2015. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like stone fruit, apples, citrusy and pine hops, and bready malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also some peppery spice, candied oranges, citrus peel and a bit of clove noticeable. There’s also a good lingering bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s slick, smooth and goes down easy. Moderate carbonation. I liked this brew, certainly worth picking up! $11.99 a bomber. fitwitchik (433) - Ohio, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Poured from a bomber into a 3F pint glass dark clear amber with a thick beige head.
Aroma fruity hops.
Flavor is Belgian upfront with the signature 3F hoppiness. Usually don’t like my beloved DIPAs flawed with Belgian yeast but this one works. Balanced without making this a banana ester hop cluster of confusion. Actually bought a second bottle. Yep 3F wins again!! drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - JAN 21, 2015
Bottle consumed June 2014 while visiting Bloomington, IN. Amber pour with a decent khaki head, mild lacing. Big hop aroma, grapefruit, mild pine, some bready doughiness, not an overwhelming presence of Belgian yeast, lightly sweet and fruity, estery. Okay flavor, a touch sweet for me, grapefruit, pine, bready, a bit of caramel, candied orange peel. Not bad. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 21, 2014
[6631-20140815] Bottle. Fragrant orange hops aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange amber body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter lemony grains flavour. Medium body. Good, easy to drink. (7/3/8/3/16) 3.7

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Bottled 2/10/2014. Hazy copper with 3 fingers of off-white head. Aromas of biscuit, citrus, toasty and nutty notes. Tastes of citrus, biscuit, toast, floral notes, caramel, light spice, some yeast. Medium body with a dry and slightly bitter finish. jercraigs (10651) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2014
2014-08-15. Hazy orange body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma of sweet malt seems lightly cardboardy, possibly oxidized. Flavour is bitter, sweet pale malt base. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay. Bottle at Campground Brewdown GTAEgeek (2295) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2014
22 oz. bottle from Dunn4040. Pours a nice bronze, with a big, foamy, beige head. Big citrusy and resinous aromas, with some biscuity dough, apricots, and some yeasty, banana esters. The flavor is a strong, yet mellow, bitterness, with a nice malt and ester sweetness. Heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. Overall, this is a nice, well-balanced, and well hopped BIPA. The fruity esters don’t kill the IPA, and the ludicrous hops don’t kill the nice Belgian yeast. rdixon77 (2921) - Georgia, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Thanks drowland for share at homebrew club! Always love getting 3F. Big Belgian Double IPA. Big deep orange color. Very spicy hops with slight fruit, caramel, and bread coming through in the nose. Balanced taste with citrus hops, caramel malts, and some Belgian yeast. Pretty full and slick mouthfeel. Interesting stuff. hotstuff (5201) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Rated on 6-01-2012 (Draft at Brew Haven Ticket Release Party-New Haven, IN) This draft beer has a small ivory head that mostly diminishes, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is yeast, pine, citrus hops, and caramel malt. The flavor is pine, citrus hops, sweet, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium-full bodied. This beer for the style is not overly hoppy tasting and is worth trying.
