COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American pale ale was brewed with our friends and co-political activists at Sun King Brewing Co. This beer was brewed to raise awareness about our legislative push to redefine what a micro brewery is in Indiana. Under 2010 law, small breweries were limited to 20,000 barrels. Thanks to the work of Sun King and other Indiana craft brewers this was raised to 30,000 barrels on April 11, 2011. Although this is a great gain more work needs to be done with legislature to help craft beer grow in Indiana. Call your representative to let them know what valuable small businesses craft breweries are.

Draft @ brewpub. Nice hop character with a sweet malty backbone. I think this is the perfect american pale ale.

Three floyds three kings. Growler thanks to Sean for sharing... Pours a mostly transparent, semi-hazy, orange pour with a thin soapy white head... Sweet coconut and assertive tropical fruit. Fresh and semi- dank. Citra? Really nice aroma... Flavors drop off by a small degree with a grainy malt presence while the hops play a little less subordinate role from what the aroma suggests. Citrusy, fairly light, while adding a slight bitter note on the finish. Very drinkable semi- light from a body perspective. Aroma more alluring than the flavor but still pretty quaffable. makes for easy drinking but would give the nod to zombie dust if given the choice. solid effort though regardless 8/4/7/4/14

On draft at DLD ’11 A smooth, refreshing, and flavorful pale ale. Nice amounts of citrus / hops with moderate bitterness. I’m glad I got to try this one, good stuff.

aroma is clean sea breeze, hints of citrus and saltines. well developed malt devoid of caramel but bigger on breadiness. appearance is lightly hazed lemon yellow. sticky legs, filmy head with ring. flavor is savory hop presence, sharp citrus present but larger earthiness.

On tap at the Brewery. Golden orange pour with medium white head. Aroma of bright, fresh floral hops, with notes orange, tangerine, grapefruit. Some pine and resin notes peak out in the aroma too. Flavor is nice, dry, assertively hoppy. Medium bitterness. Pine and citrus notes mostly across the tongue, with a bit of resin in the finish. This is quite a nice beer, refreshing and very drinkable. A good pale.

Growler thanks to Stfun. Hazy golden pour with think head. Aroma is citrus, clove and spices. Taste is grassy with some citrus and banana notes. Reminds me more of a hefeweizen than a pale. Good flavor and very enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub during Dark Lord Day 2011. Pours a clear, golden-yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is very floral and citrusy with lots of sweeter tangerines and some grapefruit-lemons. Solid caramel sweetness to balance with a touch of bread. Some light piney resins as well. Flavor is similar. Big time floral citrus up front with some juicy tangerines and grapefruits. A light lemon in there too. Sweeter pale malts and caramels to balance while remaining light. Finishes with a medium-light, floral, somewhat piney, juicy citrus that dries and leaves a lengthy aftertaste. Lighter body and a moderately lively, crisp carbonation. Overall, a very nice pale ale. Lots of citrusy florals and an easy drinking, crisp body. Fresh, hoppy, and fairly juicy with lots of flavor. Nice beer.
