On tap. Pour is clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the barrel aging with notes of oak, berries, caramel apples, and alcohol. Flavor is a bit more mellow with added notes of honey, candi sugar, and spices. Medium to high carbonation. RobertDale (6474) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - NOV 22, 2013

Overall, obviously with the age, the hop character is gone but the french oak and mild fruit flavor is very prominent. beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Bottle from DrewFace. Pours a cloudy orange red. Not much head. Aroma is tart and a bit funky. Taste is a bit strange. Maybe a bit sweet? Finish is light.

Orange wax. Pours a darker amber color, clear. Citrusy, brett like aroma, sweet, maple syrup. Syrupy, sweet, tart, caramel flavor. Homer321 (5071) - Melboring, Florida, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Strong yeast esters and phenols. Very very fruity. Deep red color. Minimal head. Strong phenolic taste full of phenols and a weird tartness. Some white woody tannins leave a drying finish. Hmmm. Interesting. fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2013

22oz bottle in the wind .. . pours a deep evra .. . mild foam .. . arg! thin and boozy .. either this is infected or mice hate cheese... jsquire (4489) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Amber color out of the bottle with a thin slick of off white bubbles. Winey nose with some fruit, vinegar and alcohol. This is mostly dominated by the oak barrel, with some vanilla, wine, vinegar, and a little funk. This is an oddly funky barrel aged beer.
