22 oz. bottle purchased at Dark Lord Day 2013. Pours a semi-cloudy amber color with a small off-white ring for a head. Aroma of oak, apples, caramel, and mild spices. Flavor of honey, spice, candy apples, and a whole lot of oak. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, chewy mouthfeel. Seems like more fruits are revealing themselves after a while, too; peach, tropical fruits? Strange beer; not quite sure what they’re going for with this one. charule (2268) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Bottle. Poured very dark red orange with nice head. Strong aroma of oak brandy. Quite smooth. Pleasant taste of oak. Not over powering.

Bottle thanks to charule. Pours a reddish brown. The aroma is just like Voodoo Lairds Apple Brandy Gran Met. Not expected. Smells like a caramel sour apple. Tastes a bit sour and a bit of maple.

Draft. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of fresh hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry finish. Duce68 (1) - Indiana, USA - MAY 18, 2013 does not count
Aroma is apples, alcohol, caramel. Taste is a lot like smell, tons of caramel, apple, dry oak. Alcohol is pretty well masked. Interesting beer, not what I was expecting for a Belgian Pale.
