Putting down some old ratings of stuff that appears gone, On tap taphouse grill westmont 3/29/12. Lots of hops in this one, but the belgian banana and clove still pull through. This is more of a belgian IPA than a belgian strong. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 12, 2012
On tap. Poured cloudy peach with a creamy beige head. The aroma picked up orange, pineapple, and apricot over pale malts.. a lot of citrus going on. The flavor found juicy apricot, orange, and pineapple bitterness over generic pale malts.. even more fruity toward the back.. became sweet and cloying on the finish. Fresh and bitter on the palate, but heavy sweetness dug in and took over toward the back.. some good stuff in there, but it didn’t transition well through the palate. Orange color whispy head w/ good lace
Light caramel, citrus, apricots, Graham crackers, and a touch of pineapple
flavor like aroma with a bit more cracker. Finish is dried apricots and grass.
I enjoyed it, but found it a a bit one note and it saturates my taste buds as I drink it and I seem to enjoy each step a little less than the last.
Chasing this with a dreadnaught showed me how far from truly excellent it was... drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 8, 2012
draft. pours gold with white head. aroma is sweet malt, some pepper, and a bit of tropical fruit. flavors is rather sweet, some banana and spicy yeast pepper character, touch of tropical fruit. bit too sweet and simple. NachlamSie (3572) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 31, 2012
12 oz. pour at The Beer Trappe. Pours a cloudy orange with white lacing. The aroma is spiced for sure with hints at coriander, citronella, apricot, clove and more light fruits. The palate gets sticky after a few sips. The flavor has some papery hops peek through with more spices and a little citrus. Finish starts to get tough as the sticky, fruity thing snowballs. It’s aight.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2016 At Fork. Flowery-orange flavor and aroma. Maybe a little sweet and seems to lack something. However it was still pretty good. Serving: Tap HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2012
On tap at the brew pub. It pours a Burnt orange hue with an off white head. Aroma of muddled sweetness an Belgian yeast. Tropical fruit, juicy fruit gum. Light caramel notes. Flavor is fairly bitter with a carameled sugar sweetness. Fruity, specifically apple and pineapple, notes tend to dominate. This beer doesn’t appear to have a lot else going on. I’m strained to find some orange marmalade, but perhaps it’s the name "Tiger Jelly" itself that conjures up that flavor. Medium bodied, carbonation a bit lacking for the style. American Belgians are too often what they are. A reproduction, an homage, but never the real thing. That’s not to say theres anything wrong with this beer. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2012
Draft at Jerry’s. Clear, light copper with good, creamy, beige head / Soft nose of spun sugar, resin, and citrus / Medium to full body, sweet and syrupy, but with good hop balance and dry, lightly bitter finish / Perfumed, rich but elegant, flavors of candied orange, banana, apple, clover honey, straw, caramel, cloves, and coriander / Very nice in a big style. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 7, 2012
Not that good and not that bad. Decent wheat beer Golden pour with small white head. Many other FFF beer I'd rather have

Hazy amber pour with slight head and big Belgian yeast aroma. Taste is bready caramel, spicy esters, and a long complex finish. Body is medium/full, creamy, medium carbonation, long finish. Overall, pretty decent.
