On draft at Hunahpu Day. Thanks to kiefdog for sharing a pour with me. Pours dark brown with a white head. Disappointing... I thought a topless wych would be a blonde. Nose is nuts, malt, a few hops, and some earthy/ grassy notes. Flavor is similar. I was going to call this one a bit normal, then I saw it is a Baltic Porter. Hmm. Flavor tastes of a few hops with some roast and dark malts, maybe. Light to medium in body, and a bit confounding. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2011
8oz pour on CASK @ Three Floyds. They had just tapped this sucker. Ended the night with this. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and molasses aroma with some hints of dark fruit. Smooth, fruity roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor with some hints of dark fruit. Has a roasted malty dark chocolate finish. Really good stuff. 50belair (3670) - Florida, USA - MAR 14, 2011
On tap at the Hunahpu’s release. Dark brown pour. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still good dark fruit, chocolate, and roasty coffee notes... jlanning215 (363) - Peoria, Illinois, USA - MAR 7, 2011
The malts are so tasty in this. Dark, chocolatey, almost smokey. The pour is pitch black with a tan head that is creamy. The finish is extremely pleasing with a good amount of hops shining through the rich interior of malts. A great brew. Love it. Hair6a11 (1481) - Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2011
On tap at FFF ; pour is dark brown with amber highlights; nice traditional hop note on the nose. hazelnuts, chocolate, coffee, and a traditional hop profile makes for a very nice Baltic. A bit boozy.... but very nice!

Had at Brickskeller during Savour 2010 week tasting event. Pours dark, with slight foam. Nice coffee taste to it. A nice porter. Verecund (82) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 29, 2010
From notes 03/2010. Enjoyed at FFF on St. Patrick’s Day 2010.
Poured into a tulip glass at the brewpub. A near-black purple with a dark, creamy head.
Roasty grains, dark malts, some chocolate and coffee. Some citrus hop-profile in the back. Taste is dark fruit, chocolate, some roastiness, and a minor piney and citrus hop finish (I think this clocks in at 58 IBUs, but it’s hidden by the malty profile). Off for the style, I think, but still tasty.
Medium-bodied; I wish this one was just a little heavier in the mouth. Overall, this was a delicious, well-balanced baltic porter. yngwie (17101) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2010
On tap at Mikkeller. It’s a black beer, topped by a nice, dense, beige head leaving lacings. The aroma has coffee and a sourish hint, as well as a good dash of dried fruits. Coffee and sweetness in the mouth, dryness too, and a little roasted maltyness. The lasting finish is more or less like the initial flavor, a bit less sweet though. Full-bodied. A really nice beer that goes in several directions style wise I think. Definitely a beer I’d like to revisit. 100508 oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 4, 2010

Bar, Copenhagen. Quite much black colour with a mediumsized off-white creamy head. Aroma is dark dry fruits, some slight roasted malts, caramel malts as well as some mild chocolate. Flavour is being quite much the same, in a rather sweet way. A bit sweet, otherwise quite nice.
Draft at FFF. Described as a Belgian Stout by the bartender, which added some confusion rating it. Served in a tulip glass. Pitch black body under a big, fluffy, beige head. Creamy chocolate aroma, maybe a hint of bitterness. Rich chocolate tones, quite creamy and full bodied. Sugary, almost lactic. Big, but retains a nice Porter-like quality.
