Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, seawater notes ! light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of chocolate and roasted malt, as well as notes of soy sauce. Roasted aroma of liquorice with notes of hops.
Roasted flavour of caramel, hops and pine needles with notes of liquorice.
Roasted and hoppy finish.

Bar, Copenhagen. Quite much black colour with a mediumsized off-white creamy head. Aroma is dark dry fruits, some slight roasted malts, caramel malts as well as some mild chocolate. Flavour is being quite much the same, in a rather sweet way. A bit sweet, otherwise quite nice.

Very dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is dry and a little crisp. Woody dark malts. Some dark fruits underneath. Mild minerals.Semi dry finish. Surprisingly ordinary tasting beer from Three Floyds.
