Almost Black. Medium creamy, lasting beige head. Aroma is quite hoppy, some sweetness, light roastiness, some chocolate. Flavor follows but not nearly as bold. Medium to full body. Smooth, soft, and creamy. Long bitter finish. Quite hoppy. Agree its more of a black ipa than anything.

Pours a deep dark black color with no head. Nose is subtle coffee and actually hoppy ! An even mixture of malt and hops, not your typical stout. Very drinkable and complex. Finishes with some citrus notes and bitterly so. A very different stout . Quaff score 7 / 10

Bomber. Dark brown pour with a nice tan head. Aroma is chocolate, slight roast, coffee. Flavor is nicely balanced, mild, chocolatey, but not bitter at all. Actually could have used a bit of punching up. Pretty mild, but tasty.

Bottle (22 oz). Thanks Kevin! Black with a medium creamy beige head and good lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, citrus, hops and light chocolate. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with roasted malt, citrus, light pine, light chocolate and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry. Good Stout that is not far from being a good Black IPA.

Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours black as night with a nice amount of tan sticky head. Aroma is campfire, some smoke and toasted malts. Taste is minimal coffee with a fair amount of smokiness. Decent beer.

Pours black with a brown head and aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and so,e hoppy notes. Taste is of roasted malt with balancing hops along with chocolate notes leading to a slight bitter, roasty finish. Interesting stout, with nice hoppy, roasted flavors while very tasty and drinkable

Tap. Dark black pour, nice lacing and a slightly hoppy roasted malt aroma. Flavor is similar to the aroma; bitter peppery orange nicely melded with dark malt and finished a bit dry/hoppy. Really enjoyable.
