Imperial Brett IPA fermented with the unique strain of yeast Brettanomyces Lambicus. This yeast creates earthy barnyard notes along with pineapple-cherry pie aromas and flavors. Of course with the "IPA" style its hopped heavily. Simcoe and Chinook are the culprits for the "Cat peed on the Christmas tree" aroma.

Bottle shared at tasting. Pours cloudy orange golden with an off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, brett, peach, pine, cat piss. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, light acidic. Some light biscuity malt and wood coming out in the palette. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Better than I expected, a really nice brett profile.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and golden with a small, fleeting, fizzy, white head. The bouquet is super fruity peach, mostly and without nearly as much of the simcoe-induced, cat piss component I was expecting. Medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor is remarkably well-balanced and fruity. Bittersweet, featuring light, acrid and acidic notes. Finishes crisp and moderately bitter with an accidental burp of peachiness following my final sip. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous ctipping!

Bottle thanks to JR! Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a touch of orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with a touch grapefruit and some backing funk and pineapple note. Flavor has a good amount of pineapple with some citrus and a backing funky note.

Orange-waxed bottle courtesy of a PUBR operative. Pours turbid dark straw with fizzy off-white head. Nose was heavy resiny hops, some yeasty tartness, tropical fruit. The palate was complex and lively, with flavors of tangerine, pineapple, a big Simcoe hop bill, yeasty funk. My only beef was that it was a bit weird in the funkiness late, with the funky yeasty notes seeming to clash with the hops.
