Pours gold, little head. Nose is tropical, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon. Lots of lemon flavors, mild bitterness, very well balanced! Great beer!

Flaske: Et par måneder gammel, men stadig helt exceptionel god. Frisk humle i duften. Smagen sidder i skabet. Virkelig en øl man kan blive ved med at drikke. Lidt for bitter men det er småting.

Though I’ve only found one six pack in my life and have never found ZD on tap, it blew my mind all over the living room. First of all the small is ridiculously dank; like Dreadnaught x 3. The taste is just a bold and delicious. The color is also unique; it’s a yellow with a bit of brown with lots of haze. Taste is pungent in the best way possible; indescribably unique and great ( I will say that the darkness carries over to the taste). Probably the best experience I’ve ever had simply drinking a beer by myself. Having it once only makes it more frustrating that it can basically only be found by chance, as most stores (even in Indiana) sell out the one case they are lucky to obtain in maybe an hour.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours a medium golden amber with generous head. Aroma is very floral with generous pine backing. Taste is piney and floral with good bitterness. Smooth. Delicious.

Bottle. Hazy medium dirty orange-brown body, medium off-white head. Intense floral, piny nose with tropical fruits (papaya) and also catty herbal tones. Floral, potently citrusy and catty body, with lemon, orange peal, and papaya; oily and resinous with a toasty malt badkbone. Firm bite but with very light alcohol/heat. Very good.

Hoppy up front. Citrus overtones and nose. Smooth finish of malt and orange. Most notable is the hops up front. All around wonderful ale! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark orange with a decent tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is very citrusy, tons of grapefruit and orange, sweet caramel undertones. Taste is awesomely hoppy , but isnt overly bitter, it actually is very tame on the bitterness in my opinon, nice citrus flavors, a bit of lime in the finish, clean finish. Glad i got ahold of some of this finally. Great APA.

Backlog bottle thanks to so many good ratebeerians. The look is clear with a thin white head. The smell is dirty, spicy, dry hops. The taste is medium bitterness, hops, and grassy.
