Pours a slightly hazy amber with billowy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Good lacing. It looks like a world class ale in the glass. The nose is all hops. Intense tropical fruit aromas with a whiff of grass and lemon. Bitterness at the front of the palate gives way to a malty middle that finishes with a floral, lemony hoppiness. Light bodied with great carbonation make this a very refreshing pale. Overall this a well crafted pale, complexity to rival the best DIPAs on BA with an ABV low enough to make it just about sessionable, a most impressive achievement. Perfection in a glass!

This beer is a wonder to drink. I’ve had it on tap at Three Floyds as well as various locations in the Milwaukee area. The golden body with a white head just looks like what a beer should be. The citra hops are very pleasant on the nose and palate. Very hop forward, but not bitter. Just a super easy drinking hoppy beer. DaTimBennett (111) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Bottled, thanks to Omar. Smell hops and citrus. Pour hazy amber with white head. Taste hops, citrus, floral, and did I say hops. Such a great beer! Cobrajet (3) - - AUG 14, 2013 does not count
Nice beer. Very smooth, not too much bite. Great flavor, good aroma. I can definitely see why people like this one.

On tap at the Village Idiot in Lexington.
Pour is clear, orange-ambe in color, and topped by a small head that hs decent retention and rather limited lacing.
Hoppy aroma aloows only a hint of malt to show through.
This is a weedy tasting IPA, with enough sweet hops to give a momentary sweet taste at the start and to limit the overall bitterness to a moderate level.

12 aug 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Nose is amazing: grapefruit rind, peaches, moderate alcohol. Med/thin body and mildly fizzy. Taste is nowhere near as nice as the nose. Mildly bitter field grass, faint grapefruit, some caramel malt. I'm kind if disappointed.

Wow this is really good. Worth the hype. Massive aromas of fresh pine needles, ripe tropical fruit, and a bit of dank. Dank grapefruit flavours. Very smooth and easy to drink. A benchmark for apa’s. cduncan14 (138) - Sandy Springs, Georgia, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours a gorgeous golden color with a thin head. Aromas of spruce, grapefruit, pear and fresh-cut grass. This thing has a TON going on. Sweet flavors of pear are very well-balanced with a punch of resiny hops. This is a pretty incredible pale ale. jeremugohio (94) - springboro, Ohio, USA - AUG 10, 2013
One of my favorites. Citris aromas prepares you for a nice balance of citris and mango flavor. This beer is sooooo smooth!!
