Shared a bottle of this with a friend the other night and man do I wish this was available in Arizona! Great flavor and definitely something unique about it. I got a slight sour note on the back of the hops, definitely a good thing in my opinion! emorriss (14) - Huber Heights, Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Starts with a nice nose full of grapefruit scent. Cloudy and turbid appearance, likely due to wheat malt, I taste a little bit. Flavor is an instant big hit of grapefruit and other distinct citrusy notes. Wonderful hoppy flavor, real citrus, almost to the point of overpowering any malt flavor. A must for any true IPA fan. 12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper/orange color with a small light white head. Aroma is very juicy and tropical. In particular, grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is mango, citrus, caramel malt, and a nice bitter hoppiness on the finish. bucs572000 (237) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Wow the aroma is a huge blast of citra hops. The flavor is grapefruit, apple, pineapple, and a really nice citrus flavor, super balanced beer. Wow I need to get a sixer next time!! Patrik (953) - Amarillo City, - MAR 22, 2013
Härligt frisk doft. Mycket citra toner. Smakar torrt medelfyllig. Lite väl mycket kolsyrad dock. En bra sommar öl.

Bottle. Darker amber color with moderate lacing. Ultra pine aroma. Surprisingly mild hoppyness. Smooth taste. Great beer. SlackerMads (3603) - DENMARK - MAR 21, 2013
Tap. Hazy light orange with a large frothy off white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is super fresh citrus and peach with some light caramel malt beneath. Taste is light/medium bitter and medium sweet. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Light bitter citrus finish. Very poundable. MWynn2010 (1) - - MAR 20, 2013 does not count
I have loved this beer ever since I encountered its predecessor, Cenotaph. Zombie Dust has a wonderful citrus aroma imparted by the Citra hops which provide notes of grapefruit, lime and gooseberry. Hazy Golden-Amber in appearance, this beer has a flavor that is perfectly balanced. The powerful aromas are supported by a subtle yet substantial malt character and a pleasantly bitter finish. This effort by Three Floyds results in a highly flavorful yet remarkably drinkable ale. Alextricity (509) - Michigan, USA - MAR 20, 2013
At long last! Finally, I’ve had the legendary Zombie Dust.
Appearance: Pours a typical APA color -- light orange. There’s a slight haze, and a nice, creamy-like head on it. Lacing’s patchy and not all that great, but it looks nice as a whole.
Smell: Think Hopslam. It smells a lot like that. Zombie Dust is tied with Hopslam as the best beer that I have ever smelled ... absolutely outstanding. A huge burst of guava/peach/citrus along with some sweet hoppiness. Glorious.
Taste/feel: Slightly letdown, though it’s still an insanely tasty beer. The aroma is stronger than the taste, but that’s not necessarily a terrible thing. Like many have said, this drinks more like an IPA than an APA... super tropical fruit flavors along with non-descript fruit and spice on this one. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, and the alcohol comes through a bit at times as well to dry the mouth, but me gusta. A proper amount of malt and spice on the finish to balance it all out pretty nicely. A great, GREAT beer, but a tinge overrated in my opinion, and I wouldn’t consider this a very sessionable beer (besides the 6.40%) due to the dryness.
For the price, an unbelievable beer, and one of the best... $1.50 a bottle, fresh from the brewery? Doesn’t get better than that. Overall though, just an extremely good beer. Best beer ever? No, but close to it. Honestly, I feel like this would score slightly lower on a blind taste test. I think a good reason this beer is so acclaimed is because of its label, and especially, its name... America’s become obsessed with zombies the past few years. Desverger (13727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2013
bottle from Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen. Pours an amber/golden colour with a small white head. Fresh and fruity citrus, pine and malty flavour and aroma, grapefruit very prominent here, has a lovely palate/mouthfeel - very easy drinking for the abv. Beautiful drop this.
