Huge fruity-hop nose on this, brings to mind fresh blood oranges, candy orange wedges, and dark honey. Hazy reddish-orange color and grayish-white head. Fairly bitter, lightly sweet, with that bitter hop-resin sticking and getting a bit more intense in the aftertaste. Juicy citrus girding that bitter structure, but not as much as the aroma promised. Medium-bodied, not as dry as some, but that resinous bitterness makes it seem drier. When did IPAs of 6.4% become APAs exactly? There is alcohol and IBU inflation at work, and those numbers are not worth what they once were. Well-made citrus bomb that is not as drinkable as it might have been.

Rated on 32nd b-day Indianapolis. Bought a 6p for just under 10 bucks. Medium amber with a great head of attenuation. Aromas of power housed pineapple, pine, citrus blast and peaches with just a sway of caramel. Flavors colorfully display candied peaches, citrus, pine, with a little bit of a caramel backbone. Doesn't let off the hop gas to much for a balance. High bitter finish that is dry. For a pale, this dominates the style category. A great infusion of hops give this a potent fruity hop profile, which is not easily found in most pales. This fruity hop profile is one of my favorites in the hoppy beer world.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 Smooth insanely drinkable. Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma was one of the best I’ve ever had. A wonderful blend of floral Citra hops, fresh grapefruit and caramelized malts with just a touch of pine. Consistent bitterness factor that is subtle, without too much bite. Overall, a great APA. This stuff is legit and well worth the search for a normally hard to find beer.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2018 I think this is a really really nice Pale Ale. It has a fantastic hop flavor with great malt balance. It’s a very very good beer, but the hype machine is working a bit harder than it should.

3.10 on an IPA I huge for me and if your going to go out of your comfort zone do it with a brewery like Three Floyd’s clearly the best thing to come out of Indiana other than the Fighting Irish. Excellent well balanced IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

09-09-17 // taster, draft. At Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London. Wow, what a mouthfeel. Intense creamy hoppyness. Heavy hop flavours, tropcial fruit, citrus and more citrus. Medium bitterness. Dry finish.

Now THIS is a great IPA. Juicy, bright, citrusy, but not overly bitter. Great palate, could drink all day.

pours a slightly murky rich gold with a medium off white head. Big grapefruit citrus nose, some tropical. Oily on the lips. I give a nod to the faint pale malts. But foremost, a nice hearty citrus flavor. Moderate bitter to slightly sour. Like thick pulpy grapefruit juice. The hops loiter forever in the sinuses. Really good!

Pours a deep gold color with a medium white head. Big, full aroma of mango, grapefruit, grass, and citrus with a hint of dankness. Taste is bitter with underlying green apple sour sweetness. Solid body throughout. Great, long, bitter finish. Lives up to the hype.
