4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, generously supplied in trade by my man pantanap! To be honest, I had never heard of this one from FFF until I opened up Kan’s box a few weeks ago. I guess it shows I’m not into the beer game as I was back in ’07. Gotta get my geek back. The beer: well holy shit this might be the best pale ale I’ve ever graced my taste buds with. Fantastic citrusy aroma with herbal pepper, lemon and grapefruit character. The flavor, while straightforward and uncompromising, is a blissful experience of the Citra. Super clean on each sip, I don’t think a beer could be more crisp than this. Imagine a honeycrisp apple infused with grapefruit and lemon juice with tons o’ hops. Not to mention the kickass label to boot. Kan, I need cases of this. Name your price.
On tap at Rusty Bucket. Luminous orange.amber with a sticky white head. Aromas of fresh floral hops, sweet malt and citrus. Flavors are bitter citrus, stone fruit, bread and piney hops. Extremely well balanced. Clean mouthfeel. Very nice. MrBeerFanatic (1076) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JAN 14, 2018
Rated on 32nd b-day Indianapolis. Bought a 6p for just under 10 bucks. Medium amber with a great head of attenuation. Aromas of power housed pineapple, pine, citrus blast and peaches with just a sway of caramel. Flavors colorfully display candied peaches, citrus, pine, with a little bit of a caramel backbone. Doesn't let off the hop gas to much for a balance. High bitter finish that is dry. For a pale, this dominates the style category. A great infusion of hops give this a potent fruity hop profile, which is not easily found in most pales. This fruity hop profile is one of my favorites in the hoppy beer world. farmhaus (3) - - JAN 12, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 Smooth insanely drinkable. Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma was one of the best I’ve ever had. A wonderful blend of floral Citra hops, fresh grapefruit and caramelized malts with just a touch of pine. Consistent bitterness factor that is subtle, without too much bite. Overall, a great APA. This stuff is legit and well worth the search for a normally hard to find beer. Hopper8 (268) - Holland, Michigan, USA - JAN 12, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 12, 2018 I think this is a really really nice Pale Ale. It has a fantastic hop flavor with great malt balance. It’s a very very good beer, but the hype machine is working a bit harder than it should. CigaRobbieBrews (26) - - JAN 8, 2018
3.10 on an IPA I huge for me and if your going to go out of your comfort zone do it with a brewery like Three Floyd’s clearly the best thing to come out of Indiana other than the Fighting Irish. Excellent well balanced IPA.

Now THIS is a great IPA. Juicy, bright, citrusy, but not overly bitter. Great palate, could drink all day. BeerInHeaven (500) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 9, 2017
pours a slightly murky rich gold with a medium off white head. Big grapefruit citrus nose, some tropical. Oily on the lips. I give a nod to the faint pale malts. But foremost, a nice hearty citrus flavor. Moderate bitter to slightly sour. Like thick pulpy grapefruit juice. The hops loiter forever in the sinuses. Really good! sPOKEtacular (29) - - DEC 8, 2017
Pours golden with small white head. Excellent aroma fruity piny citrus. Well balanced flavor with great hoppiness.
