bottle. some sediment in an amber beer under a small, creamy, stable, beige head. piney, resiny hop aroma with crystal malt sweetness. body is medium. flavors of green piney hops and moderate malt sweetness. its a hoppy amber/red ale. i love this style and i think even some more malt presence would not be out of order. Poured from bottle. Tangy and fruity nose. Classic red ipa taste at first, but balanced with the oatmeal and malts.

Draught at MacGregors. Brow-orange color, fine low head. Very fruity nose; cherry, orange, lemon. Very fruity flavor of cherry, orange, pineapple, grape. Earthy hops, some pine, nice bitterness. A strange but good fruitiness. Good beer. Paincane (170) - Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2014

Hazy amber color in the glass. Holds a tan head nicely. Syrupy sweet aroma with pine and resin hop notes. Fairly bitter palate with crystal malt sweetness that lingers on the finish. Interesting beer, if not a slight bit heavy handed. Cybercat (5840) - Georgia, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Pours a dark amber with a mahogany tone and a little bit of a buff head. Aroma has a strong overtone of evergreen hops, more like an IPA, with subtle fruity and malty notes. Hoppy flavor is not too fierce, not bitter, but still evergreen and malty and a little fruity. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy. Get loopy - but not too loopy! closey22 (1946) - Mt.
