Three Heads Loopy is a very clear, sparkling copper ale with a thick, lumpy, off white head that has great retention and lacing. It has a hoppy, grassy aroma with a resiny sweetness. It’s medium bodied, a little chalky at the finish. It has good balance. It’s pretty bitter, but appropriately so. There’s just a very slight hint of sweetness. It tastes grassy, fruity and it seems just a touch roasty. The aftertaste is long and bitter. The oatmeal adds mostly a texture to it. Interesting idea. It’s a stand-up red ale.

Aroma is piney/spicy hops and a strong hint of the oatmeal. The flavor is grapefruit, malts, kiwi and a mix of smooth and spiciness in the finish.

Pours deep blood orange into a Sam glass. Off-white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sweet resin and tropical fruit aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel upfront turning to bitter grapefruit and resin in the lasting finish.

Red with brownand orange tones.Frothy thick head.Lacing.
Hoppy aroma with toasted grain subtley sweet malt maybe oats? Some breadiness.
Taste is full with creamy chewy body.Nice toasted/roastedness with a good matching bittering to a mildly bittersweet dark carmel.Very fitting matching hoppyness with the malts.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours caramelly ruby colored with clingy off-white head. Nose is piney hops, caramel malt, red wine grapes. Tasted complex, with a piney hop flavor, some vinous fruit at mid-palate, spare caramel malt, and a very hoppy finish.

An interesting brew indeed. Shared pour from a 22oz large format bottle. Has a distinct oat/biscuit taste, a decent texture and interesting viscosity. Pours a beautiful ruby red with brown hues, little to no head. No lace left on the glass. Nose is biscuit/yeast/caramel and hop notes, with a great balance of texture, flavor, and aroma. Great brew from a Rochester brewery!
