Has classic hoppy red ale aroma. Taste: somewhat subdued at first, but then resin and some unusual and interesting tangy fruit kick in. Lively carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel, but not heavy. Almost sessionable. Nice beer, especially the finish. Boliv (1150) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 20, 2012
Bomber. Pours red and orange with a frothy beige head. Floral and herbal hoppiness with some biscuit notes. The flavor is spicy floral hops and citrus rind, with some malty sweetness. Average mouthfeel, verging on creamy. Nice. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Alabama, USA - MAR 29, 2012
On tap at Sticky Lips BBQ in Henrietta, NY.
Clear, nearly opaque deep mahogany with thin creamy head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of pine and citrus with hints of smokey malt.
Taste is hoppy of grapefruit and pine. Caramel malt occasionally sneaks around the hops. A bit of peppery spice also comes through. Not overly bitter. Rather nice.
Medium full mouthfeel with a fine tingling carbonation.
Tasty beer. Reminds me of a black IPA, but with more of an oatmeal character.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear red with a moderate tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of crystal malt along with a few citrusy notes. The flavor is malt with a bit of caramel followed by a wash of moderate grapefruit pith bitterness along with a bit of pine. The initial smoothness from the oatmeal is more than offset by the hops wash. Medium bodied. jredmond (8283) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Andrew at Dadtoberfest 2012. Pours a deep amber red body with light off white head and lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, pine and tropic hop. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet caramel malts, resin, pine, and light bitter grapefruit. Nice.

Pours dark orange with a robust dry hop aroma. A dry bitter that lasts through the body and finishes smooth.

Pours amber-red with a frothy, light tan head.
Aroma is floral, light oatmeal.
Taste is like an APA, a little peel and pine,
Steady herbal/leafy bitter....nut, wood.
Not what I expected, but not bad.
