Bomber from ck1, shared with (at least) him - thanks bro! Pours a murky tannish amber. Nice lacing. Aroma has fruits, caramel and some grassy hops. Taste is of sweet caramel, some orange and brown sugar. Finishes sweetly. Not a Three Floyds as we mistakenly hoped!
Mix of floral and citrus hop aroma, taste is a similar mix, not too bitter...pretty smooth but kinda one dimensional BeerdedDave (1875) - Beckley, USA - OCT 12, 2015
beautiful red color; bready malt aroma with light floral hop notes; bready malt flavor with light caramel notes and a goo deal of hoppy bitterness; dry, bitter, bready finish Nejhleader (1574) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2015
a nice pine hop aroma. taste is a nice pine hop with a slight bready body. tingly caramel aftertaste. Changed (463) - Ithaca, New York, USA - SEP 4, 2015
12 oz bottle. Pours dark red, off white head, little lacing or retention. Aroma is typical red-ale: warm, malty. Flavor is malty to start, then hoppy, big time, bittering, with citrus fruits in-between. Dank finish, dry. I’m skeptical of most smaller local beers, but this one definitely doesn’t fail to impress. Bottle gift from SJ. Nice notes of bread, hop, and caramel malts. Body was a bit thin, but not a bad brew overall.

Has classic hoppy red ale aroma. Taste: somewhat subdued at first, but then resin and some unusual and interesting tangy fruit kick in. Lively carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel, but not heavy. Almost sessionable. Nice beer, especially the finish. chinchill (5314) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Undated but just purchased 12 oz bottle.
This is first and foremost a hoppy red ale with no clear sign of oatmeal although it may contribute to the relatively smooth feel. Moderately bitter with plenty of tropical fruit notes and some spiciness from the hops. The hops seem more earthy and herbal and less fruity in the nose. Lingering, moderately bitter, hoppy aftertaste. Maverick34 (3304) - New York, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Bottled. Reddish tinged brown with white head. Sweet oats and hoppy red with juicy malt. Good. snoworsummer (6071) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 29, 2014
