Rochestafarian n. 1. A beer, malty in nature, brewed to honor Rochester, NY. Like the city’s fine funky music, this sweet, full bodied, slightly bitter brew is sure to sway the soul and bring about a feeling of Irie. 2. One who loves 3HB.

Lubiere (13900) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 13, 2013
An orange amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a crisp caramel malt with light mineral notes, treacle, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light mineral notes, light grassy hops, OK. On tap at Brooklyn Pour 2013.

Drake (13728) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Bomber from Beer Run. Pours a clear dark red color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, nuts, raisin, earthy hops. The taste is dark fruits, toffee, earthy hops. Dry, medium bodied, thin, off balance. A disappointment.

hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2017
22oz bottle. Poured a rubbish color with an averaged sized off white head. Earthy, malty, toasted caramel, and some peatiness.

j12601 (11706) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear ruby with a thin white head. Soft malt on the nose, a touch of light hops. Medium-bodied, a bit of paper comes through over some oxidized plum and old malt notes. Finishes with some malt and a bit of sweetness. Decent enough.

DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Bombers from Capone’s and Wegman’s. Pours turbid ruby reddish with minimal off-white head. Nose is earthy nut browny, caramel malt. Tastes metallic, earthy, pretty bad actually. Finishes medium in palate heft with some earthy metallic notes. The first miss from these excellent brewers.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 20, 2015
12oz bottle, big thanks to BrainForest. Clear red brown color. Thin off-white head, kind of bubbly. Dots and bits of lace. Mostly caramel malt. Toasty malt, kind of spicy. Touch of oxizidation, I wonder how old this is (no date found on bottle). Moderate sweet taste, mildly tangy tart, sort of light bitter, sort of a spicy bite. Medium body. Lighter carbonation, mild roughness. Slick texture. No, this is not a good beer. I’m starting to wonder if Three Heads just isn’t good. I think part of the problem is that they don’t date their beers. Who knows how old this beer is, but I bet it’s not fresh.

blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet toffee malts, breads notes, and a light earthy bitterness. Smooth, balanced, and drinkable.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-brown color with a very large fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sour and nutty - almost vegetal and had touches of dark fruits and canned mushroom juice. The flavor was dryish and woody with hints of smoke, red meat, dark fruit and mushroom juice. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Not good.

Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Sampled at esbls. Clear whiskey looking. Malty with a bit of harshness. Soft floral hops. Light drinking.

AirForceHops (7233) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 1, 2013
22 oz. bottle. Dark ruby color. Nose is toffee and old peated malt. Flavors of raisins, Earthy malt and again old peat. Medium in body with an off fruit note in there as well. Texture is oily. I’m thinking this is an old bottle because the flavors are off.
