COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Voraciously hoppy and not overly bitter. The Kind brings enormous aroma and maximum flavor. It’s like taking a walk through a pine forest and ending up at a citrus farm. This beer brings joy to the world, one sip at a time.

Draft. ABC beer co. Straw gold color with thin head. Aroma is strongly herbaceous and slightly sweet. Taste itself is very balanced, piney, and clean. This IPA is drier than sweet and all around very pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Buddha Beer Bar. A super IPA from a brewery I had not heard of before. Herbaceous and fresh brew, not sweet or harsh, but not too mellow either. Subtle with grass and lemon notes. Very nice.

April 1, 2011 - draught at Blue Monk. Slightly hazy amber-gold with a decent lasting creamy/frothy off-white head. A little up-front metal in the aroma, definite citrus bitterness and light resin - some alcohol, not much - the metal detracts some ... Taste is really pungent - catnip and spruce (no metal at all), funky grapefruit in the finish, some alcohol. Average body, decent carbonation, a really long pungent palate grabbing finish, leaves a dry grapefruit pith coating - work on that aroma and this is really, really good.

22 ounce bottle. Hazy amber gold color topped by a rocky off-white head. Piney hop nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor balanced by a subtle grapefruit hoppiness. Very smooth and nicely balanced, somewhat light bodied for an IPA. Finish is bitter and lingers nicely.

lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 26, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a big beige head that leaves a little lace behind. Grapefruits, oranges, zesty citrus rinds, a moderate amount of pine sap, and a touch of caramel in the aroma. Goes down relatively medium-bodied and just a tad sticky. Some caramel and a little breadiness upfront taste-wise. A biscuity middle. Plenty of drying grapefruits, oranges, and citrus rinds at the end. A solid IPA.

Really great IPA with significant hop character with such a low alcohol percentage.

Bottle shared with Andrew and Chris. Pours an amber body with lacing. Aroma is fresh, dank hop, light pine, and light malt. Mouthfeel is nice, refreshing and sessionable with notes of pine, dank musk, light malt base and grapefruit.

A really nice IPA. Hoppy with good balance. A bit of a bitter finish, but very satisfying.

22 oz bottle pours a cloudy honey color with persistent white head and good lacing. Aroma is full of piney and citrus hops with biscuits and a hint of almonds. Body is medium with average carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet at first, with a long dry finish (with a bit of metallic taste at the end, which is the only negative). A very good IPA I’m glad to have tried
