Cask at Blind Tiger, NYC. June 2. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper with no head. Aroma is fruity along with citrus hops, slightly resiny and catty as well. Flavour of citrusy hops, fruit, some light spices and malt in the back. Average to medium bodied. Good stuff, better then I expected. jkwood04 (5452) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 15, 2012
22oz bottle in a shaker. Pours light amber with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of bitter and lightly citrusy hops plus some caramel malts. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A decent IPA, but the hop blend used doesn’t fit somehow. BrewBoxer (2653) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Light tan color off draft. You can instantly smell the floral hops. Really fruity and tasteful. First time I ever heard of this brewery halfonit (1391) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Pours a clear golden color with a semi thick white head. Aroma is of hop, pine, dough, citrus, and some grain. Flavor is a little less hoppy than I was expecting. I can taste some hops, citrus, and candy up front. Grain, rye, and bark comes through in the back end. Lighter palate. Leaves an aluminum hop finish. Bomber. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma light piney and slightly citrix herbal hops, plenty of caramel and breadiness. Flavor starts sweet and caramel, quickly picking up a sharp piney hop character. Grassy herbal finish, bitter. Medium body and a soft carbonation. <what he said, definitely something to have fresher Bumblebeany (1) - - MAR 13, 2012 does not count
I tried this beer on tap at a bar while celebrating the brewer’s birthday. I was enveloped by a delicious grapefruit and pine taste. When I tried the 22oz bottle, it was nice, but didn’t do it justice. Try it on draft! madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2012
