Clear golden pour. Outstanding head volume and retention, world class lacing.
Nice nose of tropical hops (grapefruit, orange, mango) with a touch of pine over a light biscuit.
Barely light medium bodied with a smooth texture. Well carbonated with effervescence from the middle on.
The flavor profile is intense (hop flavor), a bit complex and reasonably balanced for a hop forward IPA. It begins with a burst of hop flavor, with pine in the forefront and the tropicals underneath. As it flows towards the middle, tropicals assume the forefront then yield to a nice herbal dankness. A mild grapefruit rind bitterness constitutes the middle over a subtle biscuit sweetness. The finish is a slow fade of grapefruit rind with a dank note. mtdewa1 (441) - rome, New York, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Cloudy gold pour. Aroma is grapefruit, pine and citrus. Taste is bitter grapefruit, pine, orange and citrus. Good smooth silky feel. Overall decent. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Bottle gift from SJ. Some nice notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine and caramel malt. I’m starting to notice a trend with this company with their brews being a bit thin. Not bad overall, but needs some work. Baristas2Brewers (24) - - FEB 9, 2015
Very minimal head. Easy pour with refined presence. Slightly citrus hops but wish it had more hops. pcshotsauce33 (61) - Columbus, New Jersey, USA - FEB 9, 2015
Pours a clear golden than clouds up once it strikes the glass. Light grapefruit, pine, and resin strike my buds. Not real bitter at all and my tongue was begging for more hops. Very light finish and easy drinking. Need to follow this up with more IBUs. Decent at best.

Pours a clear golden yellow. Aroma is citrus fruits, pine, and some Belgian yeast. Taste is some light grapefruit, pine, and a little of that yeast, which I found odd. Maybe it was just my taste being off? Not a bad beer. Strife21 (338) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2014
Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Smell is pine, citrus, and resin. Taste is hoppy but balanced by malt. Notes of resin and citrus. Smooth mouth feel. Medium body and medium carbonation. arminjewell (9669) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 9, 2014
Pour out of 22 oz bottle, very hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, yeast, some slight white fruit into orange, touch of grapefruit, nice grassy notes as well. Taste was a mix of grass, orange, grapefruit, some bready, yeasty notes into some spicy, earthy notes, finishing bitter, dry. Nicely made. Dr.Drei (27) - New York, USA - AUG 7, 2014
I bought this at a Wegman’s grocery store when visiting a friend in Rochester. I poured it into a goblet at home. Overall, this is a pretty good IPA. It’s not great. It poured mostly clear with a nice head. In terms of aroma, one is struck by the grassy hops and this carries over to the taste. This is a balanced beer. While the IBUs are 76, it doesn’t taste as bitter as I expected. That said, the sweetness is on the light side. It has medium body and a bitter finish. This is worth trying if you are in Rochester (the brewer is out of the greater Rochester area).
