Can. A decent white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Sweet alcohol aroma with pale malts and corn notes. Apple-fruity flavor with alcohol and some bitterness. Dry and warming on the palate, with flavors of pale malts, corn and yellow apples. Alcholic finish. A rather poor one, although some qualities can be found. 110612

04.09.2010, 0,5l Can. Pale yellow colour with white head. Aroma is weak. The carbonation seems to be the most powerful flavour in this beer! The alcohol strength of 7,5% abv is not that noticeble. A little sweet with almost no aftertaste. Tasteless finish. This beer tastes less than a pale lager.

500ml can (Systembolaget, Sweden)
Pale, fizzy. On pouring, a sweet fruity aroma which reminds me of strawberries. On settling, it loses all that and becomes dry and peanutty. Watery palate, some grainy and nutty retronasals, and also some freezer ice. Taste fairly malty, but a it plasticky in places, and with some slightly emasculated bitter hops. A touch metallic maybe, probably some Tet in there. definitely noble. Good example of an ESL, up to Polish standards - definitely has some power to it, but no booze. Rating after only after 100ml, but I don’t think I’ll be revisiting this after the other 400, as there seem to be no negative aspects...

Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Brukbart balansert.

Another 500ml can picked up at Systembolaget in Kiruna and shared with Finn. Tiny, white hue that left spotty lacing behind. Golden body. Hints of grassy hops and pale malts to the nose. Taste of sweet malts and sweet fruits. A few noticeable bitter endnotes. The alcohol heating is evident, but not that disturbing. Acceptable for a Swedish strong lager (at Elsas in Skibotn, 31.10.2009).
