gyllenbock (9184) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2009
Can. Golden color with white head. Very watery, and very boring. Not good at all.

Pours golden colour with a medium sized foamy head. Sweet malty taste with notes of corn and honey gets framed by surprisingly full body. This pale lager lacks the disappointing wateriness which was an annoying point in several recently drank lagers. Taste soon turns into the slightly bitter direction having hops with citrusy and flowery feeling. A hint of banana too.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 12, 2009
Canned 330ml. Aroma: Sweet malty, grainy with papaya, niaouli honey and tobacco showing up. Biscuity. Appearance: Clear pale golden with a decent, average-sized white head which leaves a slight spotty sticky lace. Flavor and palate: Medium bodied. Sweet malty with papaya showing up. Very drinkable. Biscuity. A tad salty. Low carbonation. Very low bitterness. Sweet fruity finish which is reminiscent of papaya and blackberry. Overall impression: A really enjoyable pale lager with plenty of character.

0,33 l can, bought in IKEA, Swedish shop....Pale golden beer with a small white head. Unbalanced aroma of straw and some vegetables. Flavor is similar...Rotten vegetables, unbalanced and unmatured malt with a grassy and unpleasant hop. Really bad one.

Light beer. Golden body. Mediocre beer but drinkable. Some after taste that seems to be from the grains.

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 14, 2009
10/08 A 0.33 l can from IKEA food store, Klagenfurt. It poured golden body with small head. Quite weak aroma, industrial malty, but not too bad. Similar flavor, with some other strange flavors, like tire gum, some strange fruitness etc. Some strange bitterness in the aftertaste, may be from hops. Drinkable, but nothing more.

Can that heavy found in the Klagenfurt IKEA and shared with me (thanks!)
Poured a fine golden body with a small white head t hat wnet away at a relatively fast pace. Fruity, slightly oily malty nose, weak. The taste starts with some sweet odd fruity maltiness, somewhat carrot-like, ending with a simple hop bitterness. Odd bitter aftertaste. One dimensional and not the cleanest of lagers.

Mediocre. 5 2 5 2 7 = 2.1 Can from IKEA in Hengelo, as Three Hearts Stockholm Fine Festival Beer. Golden color. Soft apple aroma, softly perfumed. Grainy soft bitter flavor with apple. Thin, rather unpleasant.

Can from Cov Ikea of course. Pale fizz with a dying head of fluff. Cooked vegetable, grass and marzipan wafts. Slippery but prickling with fizz. Hard to believe it’s 5.3%. Notes of grass, sweetcorn, paper, faint apple and aspirin. Afters of hay, corn and envelope adhesive. Quite difficult.
