SaintMatty (7481) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2010
500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Soapy and fruity aroma with raisins, marzipan and dried fruit. Sweet, fruity and slightly soapy taste with raisins, marzipan and caramel detected.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2012 500ml bottle (Stockholm) - shared by SaintMatty - thanks!
4 Very bland aroma, just the caramel and some paper
3 Clear deep re, brief head.
5 Very stodgy malts, seems almost underfermented.
2 Sugar-watery, and fairly fizzy. Finish more stodgy, and a bit buttery. Some very harsh industrial hop bitterness.
9 Fullish, but none of it particularly brilliant. Sweet caramelly nonsense.
Rerate 500ml botle (Tallink) (5:4:5:3:10=2.7)
Not sure where the previous hate came from, this is now a very scrummy caramelly dark lager. It’s brainstem-focused, no complexity, just a massive sweet caramelly fire blanket to extinguish any interest in hops. Finish is an enire load of bread - crammed into every corner of your gob. But it ain’t bad, it’s clean, it’s malty, it’s a bit predictable and maybe dull, but it ain’t bad.

Inte alls oäven julöl. Lite sötare än ern del andra, också med inslag av citrus. Ingen vinnare, men inte heller en förlorare.

Habanero (4803) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2010
Bottled. Pours clear and deep brown with a red glow, a nice, creamy but short lasting, beige head. Soft carbonation. Nose of mild malt, caramel and spicy notes. Flavour of caramel, bread and weak notes of spice. Light to medium bodied. The texture is a bit watery. Tiny bitterness in the finish. OK, but it miss some volume.

HermanW (1069) - Coevorden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2010
0,5 liter fles.Gekregen van zwager Herman vanuit zijn winterresidentie in Zweden. Een Kerstbier met heel veel smaak. Had ik nit verwacht van deze Zweden.

onystrom (1335) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2010
Can. Beautiful reddish colour with fine head. Sweet and malty flavour but very watery and with a bitter alcoholic aftertaste.

Hansen (8614) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JAN 19, 2010
A nice malty beer. Flavor starts moderate sweet and has a good bitterness at the finish. But on the other hand, not much going on.

bergstaden (3165) - Røros, NORWAY - JAN 15, 2010
Dark amber with off white head - hints of roasted malt and some hop bitterness, but it is rather thin

janubio (911) - SPAIN - DEC 26, 2009
Can, brought to me by a friend from Sweden. Dark colour, with very nice red reflections to the light, thick creamy beige head, though it doesn’t hold much. smell is earthy and roasted with fruits, spices and cocoa. Earthy flavour, taste is rough, with caramel, fruits, berries, this beer really worths it.

dnoaksson (827) - , SWEDEN - DEC 9, 2009
Burk. Okomplicerad julöl. Förhållandevis grund, vidöppen och i avsaknad av överraskningar och subtiliteter. Enkel och relativt god.
