Joakgust (1502) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2008
Bottle, 33cl - Dark amber color with a small frothy head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel and winter spices. Flavor is also malty and sweet with strong notes of root vegetables, like carrots, which actually works really well! Not very bitter although the spiciness brings a certain sting to it. One of the better macro brewery Christmas viennas.

cheeta (1181) - Langå, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2008
The head is large with a light brown color. Good lacing. Clear, amber body. Heavy sweet flavor. Medium palate.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2008
Mahogany red with a small, but dense head. The aroma has delicious caramel notes and some of malt and light spice. The flavour has the same nice caramel sweetness, and it makes the body smooth and mellow. I also find a bit of spice, but only just. The finish has a nice hoppy bitterness and I think it’s a nicely balanced and charming brew.

larsga (7675) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2009 Big brown head. Deep dark red body with carbonation. Fruity, malty wild berry aroma with perfumy, meaty notes. Sweet fruity malty taste with papery meaty notes. Very unusual taste. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish malty wild berry aftertaste, stil with the meatiness, as well as some hoppy notes. Quite sweet; lacks bitterness. Strange, and not really that good. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2008
Bottled. Nice spicy aroma. Sweetness, dry finish. A quite typical Scandinavian Crhistmas beer.

OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2007
500 ml bottle. Dense one finger tan head. Clear deep amber to ruby color. Limited aroma of sweet dark malts. Rubbery, nutty and fruity scents. Sweet-flavored; mainly dark malts and candysugar. Some underlaying bittering hops. Medium body. Sticky mouthfeel. A mediocre Christmas beer.

ekstedt (7007) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 16, 2007
Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep copper with a medium beige head. A bit unclean malt aroma with boiled vegetables, along with some roasted notes and dark chocolate. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. A bit sweet with some bitterness in the finish.
