Fedt! Derfor får den 4 stjerner... janubio (852) - SPAIN - DEC 26, 2009
Can, brought to me by a friend from Sweden. Dark colour, with very nice red reflections to the light, thick creamy beige head, though it doesn’t hold much. smell is earthy and roasted with fruits, spices and cocoa. Earthy flavour, taste is rough, with caramel, fruits, berries, this beer really worths it. bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - DEC 20, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2005 Bottle. The colour is dark brown-red, the big pale beige foam is quite compact.fiulijn (20493) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2002
The smell is fresh with a light sourish note; the malt is somewhat burned and sweet. A trace of cocoa is present.
The carbonation is refreshing; it feels OK in the mouth.
The taste is rather mild and a bit sweet with some notes of burned malt, brown sugar, sweet strong white wine, some diacetyl. The body is good and the bitterness starts with a very gentle taste that slowly grows to a well-balanced malty taste. The aftertaste is short with some notes of a gentle bitterness and a touch of boiled vegetables.
I found this beer very easy to drink; it will probably work fine as an after dinner drink when you just had enough of yuletide food. I found this lager a pleasant surprise as the Krönlein Brewery mostly brews generic lagers in an American/Australian style.
Amber beer. Traditional Swedish Christmas beer. Some malt and caramel aroma. Sweet and malty, with a good body. Nice hoppy palate, well balanced.

Dark nut brown color, decent brownish head. Nice hoppy and caramelly aroma. Hoppy, caramelly malty, slightly spicey.Very tasty vienna and nice suprise under "Three Hearts" brand.
Bottle, 33cl - Dark amber color with a small frothy head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel and winter spices. Flavor is also malty and sweet with strong notes of root vegetables, like carrots, which actually works really well! Not very bitter although the spiciness brings a certain sting to it. One of the better macro brewery Christmas viennas. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2003
dark ruby-brown colour, fine head, beautiful lace, grassy aroma, slightly sweet, medium-bodied, salty (!?!) with a dry bitter malty finish - balanced and original veronika (410) - SWEDEN - JAN 1, 2005
Dark brown, with a brown head. Aroma from cinnamon, banana, cream and some cocoa. Flavor brings cinnamon, coffee. Has a sweet finish. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 14, 2006
Bottled. Very dark amber, small brown head. Aroma of caramel, fruits and malts. Flavour is fruits, spices and very weakly malts. Aftertaste of caramel. Quite good. Hoppy flavour also, which keeps the balance with sweet and "bitter". Very nice.
