12oz can at Green Pig Bistro pours a hazy amber with some creamy, slightly off white head. Nose has yeast and malt, crackery, biscuit, orange, some caramel. Flavor follows right along, sweet and nutty, malty, biscuit dough. Dry finish. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Canned. Pours red brown. Some caramel malts and a bit yeasty. Inoffensive in general. JDBaker11058 (2206) - Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2015
Appearance: reddish amber, light beigh head, minor lacing. Aroma: caramel and light brown bread, some toasted nuts and maybe some earthy hops. Taste: sweet, slightly toasty, definitive malty character, tasted similar to the aroma. Finish: light toasty sweetness, relatively short and clean. Notes: Pretty much a decent-but-not-great Irish Ale. I think the gold standard in the US is Great Lakes’ Conway’s Irish Ale and this didn’t come close. But it definitely wasn’t terrible either. Just a little muddled. Bottle from Total Wine in Fairfax, Virginia (Pickett Center).

12oz can from Total Wine. Poured a slightly cloudy red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some sweet malts, and what my memory can only describe as campsite wood. Flavor was sweet malts, some earthy hop notes. Westchesterco (2043) - mclean, Virginia, USA - FEB 20, 2015
