Pint at the brewpub. Pours copper with a white head. The aroma is earthy and musty with notes of grilled pineapple and an herbal bite. The malts are strong with a bready flavor. There is an adequate amount of hops in the flavor with an earthy, grassy finish. It’s okay. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 30, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Orange with nice lace. Bright cannabis aroma. Palate is somewhat oily and thick. But it’s super hopped, and lingers nicely, like it’s got a lot of hop oils. Oakes (19384) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 9, 2011
Amber. Big dank aroma of citrus, weed, wood. Loaded with hops. Rich hoppy character with marijuana notes is balanced with just enough crystal malt. Very drinkable. LilBeerDoctor (4231) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel malt and a hint of citrus. Flavor is mostly malty but also some citrus and hop bitterness. Palate is a bit harsh, some mineral qualities. Meh, not a great IPA and I expected better.

on tap 7/17/10.
golden orange with a white blanket of foam for a head.
it smells and tastes like a dishtowel that is used to wash something greasy but not rinsed out or allowed to dry... then it sits for a day or two and starts to get rotten. squeeze it out into a mediocre ipa... that caramel, oranges and simcoe dirty hops.
it is bitter and crisp... 3/3/3/3/8/2

On tap @ Three Rivers poured a clear dark copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pine and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and dry. Flavors of carmel, pine and earthiness with a dry bitter finish. Hoppy but well balanced!!! Terminus (3739) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 14, 2005
tap-NM IPA challenge-high desert brewing. pours a deep orange almost amber hue with a sudsy white head. some decent c hop aromas come out along with a good toasty malt base. this beer definately leans towards the malty side with some hops lingering around. I didn’t have the diacytl issue that Whaleman had, but this beer is definatly not great. whaleman (2178) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 3, 2004
Dark ruby-brown color. Buttered popcorn in the nose. Buttery flavor. The hops don’t get the job done here and fail to balance out the diacetyl issue. erway (1004) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - MAR 7, 2004
Pours a nice transluscent amber w/ a good lasting lightly tan head. Aroma of grapefruit from cascades/centtenial, and caramel from light crystal malts. Nice body with a good bite from columbus or simcoe.(?) Very drinkable but still delivers the hops> 60-65 IBUs. Very nice example of the style. This breweries best.
