Better than SAB’s Castle lager but not by much! Murky amber to orange pour.
Fizzy, watery with metallic aftertaste. aleksander9 (1927) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2014
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." After several ZA craft beer bottle bombs, i was prepared for this one. The beer rocketed out of the bottle and into the sink. I was lucky that i got at least some of it into my glass. Pours a murky orange with explosive carbonating head. Sweet and sour aroma of malt, unhappy yeast, funk, cardboard and plastic. watery and spritzy palate. Aftertaste is water, sour socks, some pine and lingering acidic vinegar. Overall: Like a bad homebrew. Not undrinkable, and will surly become better as this brewery learns to bottle. AtronSeige (1789) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 12, 2013
