COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Night On Ponce IPA grafts an American ale yeast onto the same malts and hops used in A Night In Brussels. The result is an entirely different beer, which announces its presence with lush notes of citrus fruit before tapering to a clean, dry finish. It’s an American IPA for lovers of American IPAs.

At the Distillery, Savannah. Orange pour, of white head, solid, somewhat spotty lace. Citrus, tangerine, and pine over some doughy / biscuit underlying malt. Pretty clean feel. Nice IPA.

Hazy copperish golden under a thin foamy sticky head. Nice fresh citrusy and floral fresh aroma with a slight earthy bitterness. Crisp cool body that’s pale malty and slightly biscuity with a bright flavor of fresh floral and slightly citric hop balance. Quite quaffable and clean and simplistic but tasty.

Copper pour with a nicely sized white head. Aroma is piney with a lot of earthy malt notes. Flavor is definitely malt-forward, with a lot of biscuit and toast. Resinous pine and orange hop notes. Sticky, malty finish. No hint of the high abv. Interesting and different.

Draft at Growler USA. Orange amber clear, grapefruit and resin taste notes, and a strongly bitter finish.

Draft at Padriac's. Golden amber and frothy. This delivers ae the expected American IPA characteristics, with a firm citrus burn, and even-keeled backdrop. Good but getting lost in a crowded field. (#6770, 8/31/2017)

Had this at a bar in downtown Atlanta with Scott Anderson. Served from the bottle. Light amber and cloudy. Citrus on the nose and she n the mouth. Not too hoppy. Well balanced with 7.5% alcohol and tastes like less. You will feel it after though! F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. A pale ale with a piney nose. Pours orange amber with no head to speak of. Taste has grainy yeasty notes with fruits behind. Moderate carbonation with an oily finish.

This is a top notch IPA. Nice huge head that doesn’t give up at all. Taste is very much tangerine and hops and great flavors. Sweet with a very balanced fruit rind bitterness. This is what an IPA should be! Mouthfeel is thick but ends clean once again spot on. Wow. I have to find this closer to home.
