Another stellar offering from these guys. Three Taverns is the best thing to happen to the Atlanta beer scene in quite a while. This winter warmer is no exception. On tap at (several little beer sanctuaries in Atlanta) tonight , Summits Wayside Tavern. Wonderful cardamom and allspice on the nose. Smells of malty sweetness. Really nice, Belgian Strong. In my mind exactly what a winter seasonal should be. Really heavy flavore of the same spices. The roasted malts with Belgian candy sugar makes for an exceptional beer. One that I will continue to imbibe so long as its around. Apparently pretty heavy on the alcohol as well as my head swims Halfway through my second. Cheers
Draft at the source courtesy of Joran, Brian and company, thanks! Opaque dark brown color, beige head. Aroma has figs, dates, mixed spice, plums. Taste is sweet lightly spiced toffee and dark fruit. Tasty. nearbeer (5662) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 5, 2016
750 ml. 2015 vintage. Pour is chestnut brown with a thin film of bubbles. Aroma is clove, soy, wine, dark bread, toasted pecan and a touch of toffee. Flavors of pie spice, red wine, bread and nutty wood. Medium-plus body has smooth low-medium carbonation and a slight astringency that checks the big maltiness well. mmather (187) - Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2016
nice malty big beer that does not drink like a 10% beer. The spices are not overpowering, but are a bit astringent and slightly detract from the overall experience. Still is a very nice beer drfabulous (8802) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 31, 2016
750 ml bottle bought last December at Hop City. Pours a light body with a lot of carbonation. Still heavily spiced after all this time. Cardamon and allspice strong. pressboxjoe (464) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 16, 2016
Catching up - had this on tap in late December at Freight Kitchen and Tap (which I recommend highly). Wonderful powerhouse quad, spicy and sweet, great body. Knocked me for a loop on an extremely rainy night.

Cola colored, thin head. Berry and spice flavors, medium bodied and fairly dry. Spivey and odd

Maybe I got an off keg or something, but really disappointing. Medicinal, way over spiced, no candy sugar to balance. Near drain pour for the amount of spices. FlandersNed (396) - , Indiana, USA - SEP 30, 2015
750ml bottle. A clear, chestnut brown hue with a large, tenacious tan head. Spicy, almost nutty nose. Xmas spiced bready/malty depth. Full bodied with medium to full carbonation. rollinsr (828) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 9, 2015
Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is heavily spiced with cinnamon and cloves and gingerbread. Tastes like a beer version of Glogg. Very festive.

Draft at Trappeze. Pours ruby brown with a creamy off white head. Smells like sweet cherries, spice, floral, light yeast. Tastes like sour cherries, dry spice, light yeast, and roasted malt. Light/medium body and low carbonation.
