Bottle from Bullock’s Towne Lake. Nice quad, smooth, enjoyable. Thought the barrel was a little too woody, imparting a slightly funky brightness. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2017
Bottle @ THT. Pours deep dark brown beer with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma of bourbon oak, lots of red fruits, some bready yeasts, peaches and stone fruits and a hint of booze. Flavor is sweetish, yeasty, red fruits, booze and dry wood in there. Good in balance, long in sweet aftertaste and overall very decent and nicely balanced. Svartvit (1005) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 7, 2017

Bottle shared at the July THT. Very dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Notes of bourbon - boatloads of it - vanilla, dried fruit, light tobacco, prunes, raisins. Medium body and carbonation and a sweet and alcohol warming finish. gephross100 (943) - Bellaire, Texas, USA - FEB 12, 2017
Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours amber brown with no head. Caramel, oak, raisins. Light bourbon flavor, dry finish. Medium sweetness. Strong carbonation for a quad. LinusStick (3537) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Delicious beer courtesy of my Secret Santa. Thanks man. Aroma fantastic. Big bourbon, vanilla and dark fruit aroma with a hint of Belgian yeast. Pour was a murky dark brown with no head or bubbles. Taste was very good. All the flavors from the aroma were there. The bourbon and vanilla dominated the whole sip with just a slight hint of the Quad coming through. My only complaint on this beer was it was it’s lack of carbonation. Just give this beer some bubbles and it is 4+ easy. GTAEgeek (2578) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 14, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2015 Growler from the Decatur Ale Yeah! from their 4.5 year anniversary. Pours a dark, ruby brown, with a small, tan head. The nose is strong caramel, oak, vanilla, and nutmeg. Lots of booze. The flavor is very sweet and warming, with a little savory spice. Heavy body, powdery, thick, and lightly carbonated. This is a pretty nice bourbon barrel aged Quad; the bourbon character is lovely, but it overwhelms the dark fruits and subtle character of the base beer. I definitely prefer Quasimodo.
