SilkTork (5777) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2005
Wallington Festival. A beautiful fresh beer - lively with a fragrant hop bite and soothing with a smacking toffee base. Perfect balance. Superb beer in wonderful condition.

On cask at The Congress, Longton. Dark golden pour with an off white head. Nutty, spicy and complex for its strength. I wish all best bitters were this good.

BlackHaddock (7515) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2012
Tasted on cask at a Wetherspoons in Shrewsbury (Feb 2011). A golden bitter with a white, light head. The aroma and taste lean towards maltiness, comprising nutty and coffee flavours, leading to an oak wood like esters. It has a spicy bitterness with a lingering finish. Considering it is only 3.8% ABV the packs a lot of complex flavours and is an ideal session beer: like so many well crafted UK bitters.
